damonwad
Not my cup of tea but a pretty nice copy. This almost qualifies as a "Hello Pal" moment part deux. I like this Millie cover but the Hello Pal makes me want to collect stamps. Metro has the Church copy. I heard it was the only comic Edgar stored upside down so he didn't have to see the cover while going through his books.

generic user
Cool books! The Ray story has some great Lou Fine artwork. Here's the whole story (all 6 pages of it). It looks kinda rushed to me but still pretty great. Favorite panel is page 2 lower left. Strangest is page 1 center right. Looks like he needs a strato-balloon to hold that pipe up. And thank goodness they gave him pants next issue!

Got me started on GA collecting.
generic user
143ksk's VCC booth yielded these gems: I knew the Headline had the wacky penguin cover: But didn't know it had the wackier penguin interior: This story from the Jingle Dingle had me scratching my head: And I rarely feel guilty after buying a book, but when I saw how nice the interior of the Exciting #7 was I felt a few pangs: Big thanks to 143ksk for the books and the Heritage-esque packing and the fast shipping! BB-Gun
These were a little beat up and have been touched up a little but I like 'em. They are the first Mr. Mind cover, early Airboy with Black Angel, Schomburg Speed cover and Top-Notch with a Skull cover. The Top-Notch is missing a corner and a back cover but it fits in with the other coverless Top-Notch comics that I got from Flatrock. bb
