gino2paulus2
Wasn't sure where to post this didn't want to start a thread about it but thought it was funny. Took the kids to a park today out of town where we had dinner and spotted this mean machine!! Instantly thought of the classic Adventure Comics #78 and tried to rally the troops to get a photo. My son made it in the picture too he is just standing behind my daughter!! Good Times!!!

Knightsofold
I was looking for the earliest GA powerful female heroine covers and was able to find a copy of this gem from August 21st 1940!! It's not Sheena's first cover, but I'm thinking this might be the first truly BAD ___ center stage powerful female "hero" cover ever! Just look at those eyes !! She means business! I find this cover much more effective (and scary) than the later on cover swipe in the Sheena solo book. It's a shame the interior didn't match the intensity.... Here's some funny panels for your amusement. I laugh every time I read this one. There was a rather tough female pirate in a non Sheena story, but she was a villain. Here's a neat ad from the book. sacentaur
Really enjoyed the interior of that Jumbo 20 - grateful to you and Ricksneatstuff for posting GA interiors recently (and please continue to do so!).

I don't even want to say out loud how much I like that one, for fear of an immediate skyrocket in price. Every time I see a book that I decide to add to my want list it becomes impossible to find or priced through the roof.

BB-Gun
I was looking for the earliest GA powerful female heroine covers and was able to find a copy of this gem from August 21st 1940!! It's not Sheena's first cover, but I'm thinking this might be the first truly BAD ___ center stage powerful female "hero" cover ever! (snip) There are so many cool Sheena covers. It is difficult to pick just one... and if you prefer the more politically correct version of Jumbo 20 in red instead of blue, you can buy Sheena 4. october
Picked up a few comics for the old shortboxes this week. Like them all, but the PS 4 takes the cake.
