BangZoom
I've been picking up a few Argosys and Blue Books with ERB stories and covers over the last couple of weeks off ebay. It's amazing how cheap they are; these are essentially ERB true firsts, yet you can pick up pretty nice copies for under $50 I love pulps. The prices on them is generally very reasonable and they're an absolute bargain when compared to the prices of most old comic books. Plus, the cover art is usually very appealing and the list of authors who worked in the pulps is impressive: Ray Bradbury, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Raymond Chandler, Dashiell Hammett, Robert Heinlein, Robert E. Howard, H.P. Lovecraft, etc.

I knew Wyeth had done a Tarzan painting but I had no idea it was used on a pulp.

rjpb
Like many I think this is a cool cover, but I never quite understood the crazy money this ish goes for. I guess it's the "batgirl" having a costumed hero/villain look. There are other very cool Brundage covers that sell for far less, but as usual, NICE BOOK!!
