Yikes. What Galactus will look like in FF2...

Are you all forgetting that Galactus appears to the native population as something different each time? There's no reason why he can't appear as a gigantic storm and later coalesce into the Galactus we know in quick shots of how people view it. Although it would probably appear like the Snowpuff Man in Ghostbusters.

From the Wiki:

Physical appearance

Although Galactus is usually depicted in humanoid form, each sentient being perceives him as having a form resembling its own.

Hence, humans see Galactus as an enormous armor-clad humanoid, while an amoeba-like species, for example, would perceive Galactus as a gigantic amoeba-like entity.

If you look at his panel from the Wiki entry, this is probably what they're thinking.

no, each sentient race/planet/species, not being (as in personal).

In other words, he appears humanoid to humans and puffy white cloudy to the cloudy people of Cloud City. But he shouldn't appear like a cloud to humans or a human to cloud people.

This actually helps make my point. He is "humanized" by those who fear him. We see in him something old, familiar, and horrific.

Your point is actually ridiculous (Although we're talking about comic books here.) insane.gif

If the human race can't even agree on what their religious icons look like, clearly Galactus appears to be different to each BEING.

We can't even agree on what a comic book's condition is most of the time. There's no way we all have the same mass hallucination. Galactus probably doesn't speak ENGLISH either to the people of the Soviet Union.
