If you could only have 5 golden age comics

Any five.

Grade is not an issue, neither is pedigree. So don't say "The Allentown Tec 27". I mean if a genie could grant a wish to you for five comic books, and you could own no other books the rest of your life. Which would they be?

Mine?

1. Detective 27

2. Batman 1

3. Action 1

4. Marvel 1

5. Captain America 1

(But if he/she said that one would have to be a non-superhero book, my choice would be: Jo-Jo #8 blush.gifshy.gif

Not my book, but I wish it was.....

I will skip the "standard" 5 and go with:

Tec 27

Action 7

Action 23

Detective 38

Detective 1

Ah but there is a catch. In 6.0 and over unrestored.

Its the Action 7 and Tec 1 that is impossible, or so it seams.

Ive been collecting a really long time and there is one irrefutable truth. In time, no matter how rare, it eventually comes out of the woodwork.Thats why its great to be young.
