I just found out about The Guild as the one cool lady (?) is appearing at ECCC in March. I could not stop watching the episodes....and Wil Wheaton shows.....It is very quirky and mindful and wished to share it with other mindfuls

This band seems to me as a great comic book and as a test in time to make heroes out of earth. Humble and earnest.

As I am 46 years young, I find humor in watching why carpenter ants buggle my back porch. I find amusement in why my dog tears up her bed and I say "Bad Girl" and she gives me those "who ME? eyes...I cannot allow myself to be upset at things which excite my neural net (DATA?) Anyhow...getting back to Harvey...you done good with me and I feel You Get It

Like this issue?

only 2 in census These are them
I Love the Copper Age firsts (any firsts in general). To respond to TNERBS SSing books...I would NEVER resubmit a 9.9 for SS UNLESS I had the rare opportunity of owning two.
I have heard stories of a 9.9 resubmitted turning to a 10....
A 9.9 is a bit sacred.....that Shivabali guy tried to overbid me but he seems like a likeable human....I hope he does not read this

First issue Star Comics...bought by Marvel
As I was sifting through my collection I noticed a bunch of Star comics (some I bought 5 copies). That must mean something to mean I generally have bought multiple copies since early 1980's. Keeping this in account I have been quite happy in finding these Bundles of Joy and sent Gemma a request to start a Star Comic 1st Issue. There are at least 36 books I have found.
A set of books not highly printed...
Star comics lasted from 1984 to 1987
Keep the book in the plastic and board
Through my experiences SS and having witnessed...I wish to pass on information.
This is the best way to receive the grade as the book was BEFORE
1) Who is attending the comicon?
2) Find your books
3)sharpie where you fell the signature might want to be
4)With clean hands, pull the book out of the board and plastic
4)Place another backing in the plastic (in front of the original board)
5)Use an X-Acto blade and cut the rectangular sharpie

Made me feel odd buying a Playboy
So I looked at the census for the revised Walking Dead and saw a Playboy issue. I bought 4 of them (I am not the type to buy such books) and the first one came to me in (obviously a non CGCer) envelope..an evelope with no cardboard protection "got protection?"..it was bent up and I have no problem with it EXCEPT that I SHOULD HAVE said I Wanted to CGC it Not "play" with it......I had to share this for comics are NEARLY always sent "p
CLASSICS ARE BEST....I just love Abbot and Costello (Who's On First?) and other "don't flip the switch" classics that Allow the viewer to "SOAK" in the sensibilities of the "Journey". Here is one I wanted to Share to all "the classic" collectors

BE CAREFUL
Some sell books and some sell books. "Some" I either have gotten "restored" or WAY under grade specified..

PASS THE BUCK
Wouldn't it be nice to find Earnest collectors to pass on lower graded books? Rather than selling is not collecting a practice towards stewardship?
I then say that My truth lies in a Simple Passing towards LIFE INSIDE AMBITION
Get IT SS
So, after participating at the ECCC for 7 years now I am getting closer to understanding how ""signature (yellow not green) labels work. What I did this year was to get signatures from various artist and writers, either put the books behind them or under the table (they watch) go to the CGC booth and have someone "witness" and go back to the booth to send away. The only downfall is that the 10% discount is not available.
I, after numerous Qual
Hire a CGC rep. for 1 hour at a COMICON for SS.
I have been attending Emerald City Comicon for 8 years now and I get very excited (even if my book is low grade) to meet an involved "artist" on a specific book. GREEN LABEL? come on...I shook this persons hand and told them how they affected me....etc.
I Say This To CGC.....Hire floaters. I will pay $75.00/hour for a floater to follow me (and perhaps another friend) to random booths to verify that I received an authentic s

Unique beginnings
Firstly, I must say....there are many of You who know more than Me....
I am a collector...many of which are childhood memories (My favorite CGC being Captain Marvel #1 5.0). I drew it as a lad and it is priceless (and unworthy to sell) to me.
If I were to choose a high grade collection of merit it would be DC.
Stan Lee is the better half of Andy Warhol and, meeting him Eye to Eye, has enabled collectors to establish a network of Awareness in "Art".
