Just thought i'd share what i did last year on FCBD and give credit to a great comic store owner named Earl.
Last year i was in the Army living in Killeen TX, my local comic store was Americas Heroes and the owner's name was Earl. He told me about a month out that he was trying to get Sam De la Rosa for an in-store signing on FCBD, I was excited. Yeah he was no Mcfarlane or Lee but at least he tried to get someone. I went home, went on eBay an secured me a NM copy of Venom LP #1. All the other

Hey everybody, I thought i'd share my grading results for 4 of my vintage Marvels i submitted through my LCS way back in March. All blue labels.
Iron Man #10/ I thought this would be my best one. I thought 8.0 at the very least, possible 9.0. It was graded 8.5, I'll take it. I bought it on eBay with 4 other silver age Marvels for $25 total, already sold the other 4 for more than 25.
Avengers #27/ I thought 7.5-8.0, It was gr

I'll be 28 in December, been collecting since '95, got a wife and daughter. I'm currently an active duty soldier, been in the military 6 1/2 years, got a year left. I just got into CGC comics around this time last year. I look at some of these collections and they've got numerous comics it would take me a year to payoff.
