  1. Can anyone tell me the value of Spawn #1 the Japanese version? Which print is the most valuable and hardest to find?
  2. it's either Alexandria or the "Hunters." Or it might be the church with Father Stokes.
  3. This book is essentially a mega key in the Batman mythos. Some day I will write up a lengthy post about how important this book is. It also isn't hurting it any that is the origin of Deathstroke. Finally the black cover does make it tougher than average to find in very high grade compared to many other CA books. (Only 50 or so new 9.8 have popped up on the census since it became a hot book mid 2013.) The entire Judas Contract story arc makes it all come together. All four of those books should be on a "must read" list. Up until last year, selling the entire Judas Contract storyline was the only way for me to sell NTT 44 raw.
  4. Sideshow Wonder Woman is up for sale. It looks amazing. http://www.sideshowtoy.com/collectibles/dc-comics-wonder-woman-sideshow-collectibles-3001151/
  5. I remember a year ago I was selling the #1 set of 4 Turtle covers for $35, after finding them in 50 cent bins. I thought I did good, but had no idea that this series would blow up on the secondary market like that.
  6. I'm tempted to go over there and buy the book myself. I have a 9.8, 2nd print that I'll probably sell to pay for this book, but $960 is alot for a Copper book with CT. It might help to get it SS and get the yellow and purple label.
  7. Baltimore Comic Con Economy (non-FT) just shipped. Received on 9/15.
  8. I'll share this NYCC book to honor the late, great Al Plastino.
  9. This was an amazing episode. I can't wait for the return in Feb. I can't believe I missed..
  10. Rob Bruce sets up at local shows here, but always just brings junk to sell. I don't really think he's a celebrity, especially around NJ. I've been to Secret Stash a few times (a few years ago and recently) and Mike is incredibly rude, and Walt looks like he hates working at the store. I'm guessing Ming works in the back, because I never see him there. While we're on the topic, I was at a LCS sale this past Saturday, and the employee told me how the Secret Stash guys frantically called them the night prior to the sale asking when the store opened, and then came to the store at opening and cleaned them out. I don't know what they bought though.
  11. That was filmed months ago. I'm sure those guys caught on right away and jacked up the prices.
  12. I just sold my F/VF copy of the Preacher Preview for $250 (barely last a day). I had it up last week for $75 with no bites. The Preacher 1-66 set I had up for $125 last week with no bites and now its back up for $350 and probably won't last the week. What a difference a TV announcement can make.
  13. Great seller. No problems on the Batman #1 (New 52) book.
  14. This is a variant, but the NYCC variant for Auteur #1 (Oni Press) is starting to show some legs. I sold a copy for $35 a couple of days ago, and then sold another for $50. Neither lasted more than a day at the BIN prices. These books were only selling for $10 a few weeks ago.
  15. I can't believe I missed this. Normally there aren't too many deals in the MCS auction. http://www.mycomicshop.com/search?ItemID=24873821
  16. help a DC guy out, I see two different covers for Capt. America #6, (Bucky cover and Cap Cover) is one more wanted by collectors than the other? The variant for #6 would definitely be better and more desirable. Its harder to find, and it has Winter Soldier on the cover.

Great seller. No problems with purchase of ASM 122
  18. It was great to meet you again Chris and Frank. It was great to meet Gary, too. I wish I could have talked for a while with you guys, but it was crazy crowded.
  19. I have the original Captain Marvel displayed with my Modern Nova. I don't buy much Bowen, but these two are my favorites.
  20. No #1 1st Prints on eBay...yet. I took them all. And there weren't many I can tell you. I went to the USA,UK and Australian sites - didn't try Canada coz of their stupid postal charges. Going to sit for a bit and see what Fox do with the Movie. start pumping Goodness Paperheart - straight to the point...... No flowers or dinner first? I'm flattered but will have to pass. Try Ravenswood. (thumbs u http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=48271 I think that;s all the pumping that is needed. Same way with Ghost Projekt. So that's why after months of no movement, my signed set of 1-5 finally sold for a whopping $14 BIN. The #1 was a 2nd print, but still sucks to hear about this.
  21. Non-FT modern Wizard NYC books from 6/28 in my hands as of yesterday (received at CGC 7/4).
  22. It looks like modern non-FT is all over the place. Still nothing on my 7/4 submission.
  23. All the magic characters with Constantine somewhat being the leader. One of the best reads of the New 52 titles.
