  1. Just curious, what's the record high for each grade (SS and non-SS)? According to GPA VF/NM to NM/M copies of Walking Dead #1 last went for... 9.8..........$1600 9.8 SS....$2026 9.6..........$1100 9.6 SS....$1750 ($1250 90 day average) 9.4..........$950 9.4 SS....$1300 9.2..........$675 9.2 SS....$685 9.0..........$889 9.0 SS....$1203 I hope that it's okay to quote GPA here. Thanks for the information. I asked because the $1750 SS 9.6 was my book. I was planning on keeping it for my collection, but decided to throw it up for $2000 BIN obo, and had tons of people interested and settled at $1750. I know that I will never get more than that.

  3. I usually follow the same policy with variant covers, but some people are saying the Shadowman is limited to 500. I don't know how true that is, but if it is, then it might be an exception and go up in the long run.
  4. I just found a copy of PPz #1, 1st print today for cover. I'm thinking I might get a couple of the 2nd prints, too, since it looks like this has some legs. I also found a copy of Shadowman with the black cover and slipcase for $5. Do you guys think this is a good long term investment? Or should I just get rid of it now? I noticed that these are supposed to be really limited.
  5. Peter Panzerfaust #1, 2nd print is starting to do decent.
  6. Not to divert this thread from the arguing, but I'm going to go alittle off topic. Does anyone think it's better to buy runs of titles, instead of just selling single issues that are heating up? Like, I noticed that I'm easily selling Batman New 52 single issues is only $10-15 max and they are harder to sell, while selling them in sets (ex: 1-10) for $80+, will move them alot quicker. I've sold 3 sets like that, by just finding alot of them in $1 bins, paying cover for whatever's left and obviously paying alittle more for #1. I also have sets of ToT 1-3 w/2nd print #1s, that are easily moving for $55+, while single issues take forever to sell, especially of the 2nd printings. I guess I say that because today at a local comic store sale, I found tons of complete runs of hot titles like ToT 1-6, Fatale 1-7 and New 52 for 50 cents each, and don't see any way to sell them as individual issues, unless I want to sit on them for awhile. I found some books there like Manhattan Projects 1 and 2, and thought that it's not worth it to sell them individually, but to buy 3-5 for cover price, and sell the run of 1-5 for one price.
  7. I would just forget about the books you submitted economy without fast track. It's going to drive you crazy thinking about how long it will take to get it back. Just start paying the extra $8-10 for fast track. I made sure to fast track at Baltimore. I can't wait 6 months for books anymore.
  8. Got this for $1 each at a flea market. The best thing was that the guy asked if I knew anyone who wanted to buy in bulk. Long story short; he sold me 25 modern long boxes for $200. Nothing amazing in the boxes, but they did have some decent complete runs.
  9. More toys. Like most kids in the early 90s, I was a massive fan of Power Rangers. I picked up this great lot for $100 from CLs. I initially bought the lot to flip, but it brings back alot of memories, so I'm keeping a chunk of the stuff. It's still tempting to sell alot of them, since alot of them fetch $100-200 a piece.
  10. It wish it was a collector who got it, but it was a dealer, even despite it sitting in the bin all day long. I still can't understand how he got it, but he was talking to another dealer about it, and had it in his hand. When my friend asked is he was serious, he maintained that he was.
  11. I just sold a SS 9.6 for $1750. The craziest thing was that a dealer yesterday found a raw WD #1 at the convention in Connecticut that me and a few other people were at..........for $2.50! It was sitting in the guy's bargain bin for literally 8 hours, and everyone (including me), missed it.
  12. That game is a generally pain for Sega. The SNES version is the way to go.
  13. +1 Bought a Superman 4 and everything went great. My second great transaction with Terry.
  14. Not a comic, but I just got this in today. Sideshow Spider-Man Negative Zone statue. Limited to only 75 pieces!
  15. Nice hauling. I would crack open the Thor and get it signed by Stan Lee if the green label bothers you. I have an FF1 with a married page that came back 1.8 SS (married page) and it looks much worse than your JIM 83.
  16. Nothing major, but bought some stuff today at a flea market. The trades and HCs were $1.50 each and $0.75 each for the Watchmen. I think a few of the Ballads and Essential Conan are alittle hard to find.
  17. Not to get off topic, but can anyone tell me the print run on the third print for VoB (blue title)? I have a copy and might list it soon.
  18. Great. That means my SS stuff from the 3/31 NYC show is finally being graded.
  19. Did I miss something? I thought people stopped reading Spawn in aroung the turn of the milenium? Those are great sale!. Congratulations!! 2 sets sold today..covers a-f @ $305 & $356....a lot of people dogg on McFarlane, and Spawn doesn't move the numbers per month that it used to.but the back issues do well on Ebay! I buy every issue I find in .50/$1 boxes after #115. Some of these are tough books and there's guys getting back into collecting that have the first 50 or 100 and are trying to get the run up to date. If McFarlane does something to get Spawn back in the limelight,it could be a $1000 run just for the basic issues. Then I could sell my run 1-100 You probably could (I mean, you can sell ANYTHING), but the later issues are much more difficult to find, especially in HG. Most people stopped prior to #100, hence the lower print runs and increased cost. I was just talking about this with someone today. People really think Spawn is worthless, but whenever I find 100 and up for 50 cents or less, I grab them. I'll eventually form a lot of 10-20 books that can fetch a pretty decent number. People need to check on that kind of stuff before assuming the value.
  20. That are HEAVY!!! I went and got one Saturday afternoon at our IKEA and my back and left knee is still hurting from wrestling it into the backseat of my car and then dragging it into the house Detolfs are awesome, but are definitely heavy, so shipping should cost and arm and a leg, IMO. The worst was when I bought a floor sample for $30 from an Ikea near me and lugged it in my car by myself and somehow got it inside my little Honda Civic coupe. Definitely should have thought that one through. It got home safe (thanks to the tough tempered glass on it), so I no complaints, I guess.
  21. Refund sent. I'm not even going to give the whole story here. I'm just going to say that shipping to unreasonable international buyers like you is the reason why alot of people don't ship outside the US. After buying and selling $10k+ on this board, I don't think I would run with your $118. I kept communication through this whole thing. pmsl, i asked for 3 weeks where is my tracking number, all i got was "i will find it tomorrow or its in my car somewhere", after i said i would put you on here you did something, dont care if its for $1 or $10k, your communication was and i hope no one else gets the service i did. yes i did recieve refund, god help anyone else with this Lemon Sure thing. I gave you the stupid number eventually, and it showed that I shipped it on 4/29, so it's not like I was lying. After I gave it, I communicated with you and asked for you to work with me and wait a couple of weeks (international shipping can take a while), but you continued to be unreasonable and gave it only 1 more week. I don't know what else you wanted from me. After I didn't communicate for 1 day, you called me out. If that isn't unreasonable, I don't know what is. All you had to do was wait and work with me, since it was completely out of my hands after I shipped it. If you want proof that the tracking number was indeed yours, go back and check the thread for how many UK boardies bought from me. You'll see you were the only one. This problem could have been easily prevented if your address showed up on the Paypal transaction, so I could have printed the label like I did with everyone else. Anyone in my position would be pretty frustrated with this whole thing. Especially when it involves losing out on $118. I'm done selling to the UK. The only time I was ripped off on this board was by a UK boardie, and now I just lost my Captain America 100 to you, and you're making me out to be the bad guy in this whole thing. are you saying i have stolen the comic from you and kept the money as that sounds like it! i will make sure on every selling thread people know what you are like now then! I never said that. I just said that I was ripped off before (a few months ago) from a UK boardie and now I'm out the money and the book with this transaction. I never said you ripped me off. I just said that you were very unreasonable with this whole thing, since I gave you everything you wanted and you still called me out. If you want to krap on my threads, then you're welcome to. You just seem to completely lack courtesy and decency. I wish I had known about this before I sold the book to you.

  24. Here's the stuff I got on-site graded at Philly. Everything came back as expected or higher.
