  1. Hello! Thank you for reaching out. We do try to complete orders in a first come, first served basis; however, there are times when a submission is held back for one of many reasons. This could be that additional research is needed on a certain book or second opinion is needed on the grade. We apologize for the delays.   2. Hello! It does appear that there is an issue with the online submission form currently and it is not reflecting the correct pricing; however, you may continue to submit as is. The online form is not a live form therefore there will be no charges processed until the submission has been received at our facility. Once received, you will be charged the correct amount of $120 per book for the signing event. I have forwarded this information to our web team for review so they can correct this error. CGC will most likely contact you to request written approval to remove the books from the original poly bags if they have not been opened before sending them in. Due to the recent Hurricane, there have been some delays with entering submissions into the system; however, as long as the submission was received before the deadline, then it will still qualify for the signing event. I see that your other submissions were entered into the system yesterday so you should see your final submission entered into the system today.   8. Hello! The free shipping kit is provided in the form of a voucher number that is provided when you sign up for the membership. You should receive a copy of the number in your confirmation email.   9. Hello! There is no set amount of time for a submission to remain in one stage of the pressing/grading process, only the overall turnaround time. This being said it does look like your submission is moving forward according to the selected grading tier. As of right now, your submission is with CCS for Pressing services. Once this is completed, your submission will be moved over to the Grading side of things. Payments are taken when a submission is received, this includes being received at CCS for Pressing.   12. Hello! The online form is not a live form and as a result, no charges are processed until your order is received in our facility. Any available membership credits will be applied automatically prior to processing the charge. The Membership Credit is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. They will automatically apply to any regular CGC fees as they are incurred until the credits are used up or expire.
  13. CGC does not certify books that are sealed in a manufacturer's poly-bag. To have a poly-bagged book certified by CGC, you must either remove the book from its poly-bag or send written approval authorizing CGC to remove it. The words “Poly-bag removed” will appear in the key comments section on the CGC label. The label will not specify if any loose item was in the poly-bag with the comic. When the comic graders remove items from a poly-bagged comic, the items are returned to the submitter in a separate mylar/bag and board.

Unfortunately, in order to qualify for a complimentary reholder, the original submitter would have needed to report the damage within two weeks of receiving the submission.   25. Hello! @Batisaac This is not considered the signing card; however, you can create your own. Please be sure to write on a small piece of paper and include your name, the artist's name, and the order number. This should be include on the back of each book submitted. Thank you.
