  1. Absolutely. I was like, Shong Chi, what the heck are they talking about? Along with yet to be determined Sub-Mariner.
  2. One of my favorite movies all time. Been waiting for this as it's only a few months away. I wonder if that's a young morpheus he's fighting and now he's the mentor (kung fu sim avatar or time-travel).
  3. AE = Artist Edition. Cover only original art collection of EC covers. Sized at twice up, which is original artwork size.
  4. It took me about 50 clicks of this to reply... Great Job, Blackstone. Anyone ever heard the saying, 'if it ain't broke don't fix it?'
  5. I'm in the whole crypto is pretty much worthless except when you sell it to someone else who's crazy enough to think it will keep going higher (think dutch tulips). That being said, I found it kind of interesting the comment of the 'digital original' from the author. But, I really don't see the value other than mental. Every copy is identical -- he could make a million and you couldn't tell them apart. I guess you could add value by having certain additional elements on that original copy that are unique. Like a video of the artist composing the piece.
  6. My understanding of diversity is based upon the quantitative mixture of elements that make up the society. My point there is the black ratio hasn't changed all that much. Today it's 14% Blacks. The proportion is sill small, yet BP movie accounted for an overwhelming business success. I don't think anyone would have ever guessed that in a million years. Now, if you are saying that tolerance, inclusion in pop culture, etc changed. I do agree with that. On the other hand, from a business perspective, marvel threw all kinds of things out there and kept the ones that were successful. BP and other titles, just did not have the audience to keep them afloat as did mainstream lead characters. No arguing there.
  7. Yep, what an eyesore. Have you looked at getting Captain America Omnibus 3 yet. lol. I just throw all mine around randomly in piles and stacks, so I don't suffer as much (only when I need to find a specific one).
  8. That number hasn't increased dramatically and yet we had the phenomenal success of Black Panther, the movie.
  9. Yep, finally some good omnis hitting hard and fast. What IF. Spider-Man 4 (these go fast, usually). FF 4 (was delayed but expected real soon). Conan 5. Captain America 3. If anyone is into EC AEs, EC cover edition supposed to be out next week. Get that wallet out.
  10. I'm actually feeling like this will be really good.
  11. Wow. So there's another pronunciation I had wrong in my head for years? Shong Chi...link wong chi... not Shang Chi.. like gang chi
  12. Watched it. Thought the middle was a bit slow, but opening and ending were really good. Wife and I were really impressed with Starro and homages to JLA. That being said, this was no GOTG.
  13. Richie Rich got me into comics. I remember dreaming about all the other ads inside like sad sack, little lotta, dot, stumbo, baby huey, etc...
  14. Just FYI, all kinds of obsolete and formerly expensive older omnis are going to be reprinted soon... like. X-MEN 1,2 FF 1,2 Thor 1, Hulk 1 and newer stuff like Peter David Hulk Vol 1. Hickman FF 1,2
  15. You got 16 (I feel a little better ... it's clearly not correlated with length here). Click on your image box above member.
  16. This is useful, although we still don't know what the programmed rules/rewards are. I can see a big weight on number of posts. But surprised I got such a low score. Actually, I only have 1 follower... am I that much of an uninteresting pariah here?
  17. Haven't picked up anything in long while. I was thrilled, however, to see 1) JLA bronze 3 finally came out. It is big and beautiful. 2) IST delivered very quickly. 3) IST didn't use peanut PITA styrofoam packing, but instead used plastic air pillows.
  18. Having never watched the loki series yet, I was blown away by this trailer (esp. after about 29s in )
