  1. No, m'lady, beat away! That's what we drooling masses want. If Sharon told me I was being out of line, I would tuck my tail and start apologizing profusely. She shows as much or more understanding and kindness than anyone on these boards.
  2. An autographed card cover! What could be better?
  3. If it makes you feel better, I am sure Robojo would have a hard time selling here and he's not even on the list. As silly as it seems, I guess the people here don't want people who rip people off, regardless of where they were when stealing it, trying to get board members' cash.
  4. Hit a little streak of some smaller stuff recently: Closing in on my Joker run - need issues 2 and 4 to finish I like the newest Lady Death - this edition limited to 200 signed/numbered Awesome Stuart Sayger sketch on this one, which stays on the boards thank to Peter Palmer - who picked it up from another board member. It became available when he got Sayger to do a sketch for him. And this silly one I was just glad to check off my list:
  5. Kudos to shark2557. Out of the blue, I get a PM asking for my address. He tells me he came across a couple items at a yard sale and he would be shipping them to me. A couple days later, a couple of the fun C.M. Coolidge dogs playing poker framed prints show up: A Waterloo A Friend in Need
  6. Was he board and just was hoping everyone would jump on him or is posting the just so much fun he can't stop himself even if he has no intention of paying?
  7. Guys that work for the post office are dolts and couldn't hold down a real job. Just ask my boss at Canada Post. It's comments like this that lead to random shootings in the workplace.
  8. Pretty nice scraps, BP. That is a cool looking book I know some of Novick's work from this era looks a lot like S&K - but usually not this much - any speculation that this was a cover they did on the side - and Novick signed? Now I need you to get an undercopy. I didn't realize Blackjack was still making covers after No. 27. I guess I have more to add to my list. Those Zips are great books.
  9. Beautiful book - and congrats on the great call on the submission. There may not be many, but the ones that exist do seem to be in pretty good shape. My 9.4 is starting to look a bit ratty. Heck, its only the third best (and a distant third) copy in the last 20 posts or so. Did you pick yours up on eBay or somewhere where you could see just how nice a copy it was when you purchased it?
  10. Find an attic to hide in, pack up and go to Poland, but for heaven's sake, leave while you can!
  11. 'Trooper, don't you think it would be fair to give yourself 30 days to see if you can work it out with yourself?
  12. What happened, you send Cal out for pizza so he didn't grab it first?
  13. Didn't see the cards on the cover until I was going through a random box of stuff at SDCC. This has to be one of my uglier 8.0 books.
  14. what a cool looking book.... If you every need to flip it ... PM me
  15. Love the cover art! Here's one that's cool, robot cover and Hitler reference. Ken Seems like a precursor to I Robot, Space Odyssey and Matrix robots rebel stuff. How early did robots start turning on humans in literature - as soon as the genre began? (Great Weird Tales cover by the way. Lovecraft, Hitler and robots, even the content is awesome.)
  16. Get it slabbed and find a stand that will allow you to show both sides. The work on this book is spectacular!
  17. They don't care. They only like it when information comes out that is bad so that they can completely trash the other person like he or she is a complete scumbag. You know what? You can take this "i'm just a poor misguided victim"-attitude and shove it up your . And, btw, you still owe me $1. I just don't think I'm a complete scumbag. $1.00 Refunded. You are not a complete scumbag. Far from it. You are a young man that has made multiple mistakes buying and selling on the board. I think it is fair to say that you still have some maturity issues as would most guys your age. I know how hard it is to think logically after all the negative comments that have been directed towards you but it is time to start. You've let board members down for the fourth time and understandibly people are upset. This board feeds on drama and piles onto the bad boys. Forget your feelings, use your head, put aside your spoony attitude and apologize. Not a half hearted, I gotta apologize 'cause people are mad at me, but a honest apology. Either that or get a tat, buy a Harley and kick a puppy. Hey, 2 out of 3 for me. Anyone got a puppy?
  18. Great books - and an amazing grade on the Action.
  19. Kudos to CoinAddict for Roundup 3 - a GA Western card cover I didn't know about until the VCC. He shipped it quickly and used a neat 4-story Detective story arc for packing materials. Definitely impressive on a $14 purchase.
  20. Silver-Acre is learning by blocking knowledgeable collectors and trying to deal with only people who do not know better. Classy. And he must keep some kind of list. I have a couple dozen people on my blocked list, but I couldn't tell you why. I know several are because people here said they had problems with them.
  21. Kudos to jpolz and The Resurrection. Nice problem-free transactions with good communication. Couldn't go smoother.
  22. This is getting pretty pitiful lately with all these little scams. And this one sounds like you cannot even call it an honest mistake of someone not going through the boxes and turning it around as a flip for quick cash. you know we went almost a week without a major meltdown. we were due... j Just trying to give our local media something to report on this week.
