I see that we charged you for the CCS pressing fees, but not CGC grading fees yet (your order is currently in pressing so we're not quite in that phase yet). Because your books haven't gone to CGC (grading side) yet, the system is not allowing you to update your card. You can either wait until the status reads as "verified" or "grading/encapsulation/imaging", or you can call or email us at your leisure. You may find our contact information HERE. Thank you!

CGC Trading Cards does not yet have a timeline for the holder updates and testing, but the process is being fully expedited as possible. An announcement will be made once this holder is completed. If the signing is not witnessed by an authorized CGC witness and directly submitted for grading, then the signature cannot be authenticated for Signature Series. Testimonials, photographs, video recordings, certificates of authenticity and any other proof of signing are not accepted. We're really sorry for any inconvenience this might cause. Any items that have already been signed would not qualify for Signature Series label. In most cases, they would receive a green Qualified label. This allows the graders to ignore the signature for grading purposes and the book is not downgraded for the writing. All shipments are direct signature required with restrictions that do not allow packages to be rerouted or the address changed once they have shipped. Kindly keep in mind that these restrictions are in place to protect the security of your returning collectibles and they cannot be removed or amended. Just a friendly note, if a shipment is unable to be delivered after 3 delivery attempts, it will be returned to the sender. Once a shipment is returned to CGC and processed through our mail queue. We will contact you to confirm the shipping address and make the necessary reshipping arrangements. Changes to the shipping method and/or address can be made by replying to the RETURNED SHIPMENT email notice. The RETURN SHIPMENT email will be sent to the account holder and the account holder must respond to that email directly to arrange any changes and re-delivery. Grading fees start at $24.00 per book for a modern age book (1975 to present) and $35.00 per book for vintage books published prior to 1975. Each of these service levels provides up to $400.00 insurance per item. The fee per book goes up from there depending on the declared/insured value for the item regardless of the comic age. You can find all of our grading fees as well as the current turnaround time for each tier on our website here: CGC Services & Fees | CGC (cgccomics.com). From there, just follow the simple steps outlined on our website here to sign up for membership and start submitting: How to Submit | CGC (cgccomics.com) As for valuing your comic, the value we ask for is an insurance value, the amount you would feel comfortable with in terms of a replacement value if the book was lost or damaged. We encourage you to be conservative as we do not reimburse if it has been over-valued. Each tier of service covers up to a maximum specified insurance level, select the tier of service which will accommodate the declared value for your item.     Reholder?

    Hello @ak47po, thank you for contacting CGC. Unfortunately, our mechanical error service (free reholder) would only be available to the original submitter in this situation., and it would have to have been submitted within 14 days of receipt by the original submitter. In this case, you would need to send this book back for a reholder service if you'd like the comic to be put in a new slab. Thank you!

  13. Hello@Ofer Nave, thank you for contacting CGC. The $14.00 fee for "Inbound shipping" is a shipping label that we provide with your packing slip. You would attach it to the box you plan to ship with, and your shipping to our facilities would be covered. However, we do provide a small shipping kit with your purchase of an associate tier membership. In the welcome email you received when you signed up, there will be a code that you can use at our CCG Store for a small ship kit. Select the small ship kit and when you go to the checkout, you'll put the code into the "discount code" field. Thank you!

  16. Hi @clayh1976, thank you for contacting CGC Video Games. I would say to remove the cellophane over the game for now. Since it doesn't have it's original seal on it, it wouldn't qualify for the Retro Sealed tier, and the cellophane would likely be removed anyway by our graders/receivers in order to actually grade the game. Typically speaking, customer service hears news usually a day ahead of time or at the same time as our customers, so it's likely that once we make the announcement that we have those slabs in, we'll all be aware at the same time. Since I don't think anyone's mentioned it quite yet, I'd recommend signing up for our TCG Newsletter, as we'll make a big announcement of it once we have those slabs available once again. We likely would have no way of knowing that the customer had passed away, so if the order was already paid for, we would just ship them back as usual. Alternatively, if the order is still processing or being held for whatever reasons, their family would have to contact us and provide a death certificate for us to release the order after it was finished and paid for. You can try to write on the packing slip/submission form that you'd like to have the back cover encapsulated towards the front of our slabs, though unfortunately, I don't think my team will likely accommodate the request. Hopefully they are able to though!
  21. Hi@TIBO1, I checked with my supervisor and we do not have any official instructions available yet for submitting to the Munich office. It is currently something we're working on, but at the moment, we are not allowing submissions to be shipped there quite *yet*. As MattM said, unfortunately if you do not see your card in the system, you would either need to add it manually via the "I Can't Find My Card" option, or alternatively wait until these sets have been added. We understand that this may be frustrating that the cards are not in the system immediately, but we are constantly adding new sets to our database. It is very likely that your sets will be added shortly. Thank you so much for your patience in the meantime!
