  1. Great to see you back here Ed, and with some new findings to report!

Any idea which is the more common version of that Saddle Justice? In my n=1 sample it is 100% the code version. lol More helpfully, they seem to split evenly in the 10 issues in the Heritage archive.

I was so sure I had this round nailed. Turns out I bit off more than I could handle.

I hit 'xD' on this post but, having tried ice climbing exactly once, I think  is more appropriate. So... I swing this ice tool hard enough to dig in far enough to support my body weight, but not so hard that I ride the bottom part of this icicle downwards at 9.8 m/s^2... got it.

  3. CGC's stated policy is to grade as if the tape isn't there, so that might explain the low grade - the cover and centerfold might both have been detached but are now attached by tape.

This is where we are now.

These YT CGC fanboys are assuming every overgraded book is now under suspicion for being part of these scams, instead of just another in the long history of overgraded CGC books we've seen in the Quality Control thread and elsewhere for the past 10 years.

    CGC loves these scammers.

Now they can blame all that overgrading on someone else.

It has all of the hallmarks of the known scam, especially the very specific grading notes on a 9.8. It's really not that big a stretch to consider it under suspicion.
