A different sort of duck book for me this time - a 1961 Weeties cereal packet giveaway.

It's a GA book, so by the latest grading comp, it's a 5.0
But seriously, I'd say 2.0/2.5 even with the missing piece. if it was the FC I think Point Five would be on the money.

Perhaps that is one of the new improved processes they have implemented since holdergate? Lol
It would certainly greatly facilitate swapping books out!

11 points? 3.67 points per round? I am only 6 points behind you and don't think I will make to top 3 in the final round.
I know you are always good at grading many low grade GA books. CGC has used GA books heavily that I am not very fond of.
Wished you a good luck on the final round.

I had 3 points this round. Not sure if that's good enough for a top spot.
Did think about putting all 5.0s also but talked myself out of it.
Puts you one point ahead of me, and I think we must be both close to the top, so well done to you sir!

I so badly wanted to do all 5.0's, didn't have the guts to go through with it though
I was this close to all 4.5s but luckily I piked it.

3 points for me. I figured they were all the same grade and thought 4.5 most likely, but bought 'insurance' by grading two of them a notch higher.

I just submitted my grade. I can sense my own disaster.
Wished you a good luck TOMORROW (wait a minute....it's already Saturday today....I mean Sunday).
It's still tomorrow! The contest ends Sunday lunchtime for me.

Can I just make it clear, dear reader, that Mr Point Five is indulging in banter and japes at this point. My record is clear.

I think we all consider some defects as tolerable and others beyond the pale. I hate rusted staples and foxing, but can live with some edge tears and creasing, for example. My advice would be to decide what your deal breakers are and avoid them, even if the book is otherwise really desirable.

Looking at this again:
If that has been prepared as carefully as I would hope legal documents are prepared, it reads as if the 2021 number (253) is 'approximate', while the others for later years are exact. Or is it an error, and they meant 'approximately 253, 345 and 329 submissions in 2021, 2022 and 2023 respectively'?

The staining on the Lois Lane also extends onto many (all?) of the pages.

This is one of my biggest pet peeves in life. Someone will say "about" or "approximately" followed by a very specific number. JUST ROUND IT SO YOUR STATEMENT MAKES MORE SENSE!!!
Sorry, everyone, back to business...
Yes, that happens approximately 64.732% of the time
