  1. Wolverine was breaking out to some degree even as early as 1980. I recall a comic mart dealer at that time commenting that there were many collectors wanting every book that the character appeared in. I read the Byrne / Claremont X-Men without focusing that much on Wolverine at all - I just really enjoyed the material as a whole.
  2. I play mostly single player though I play with friends from time to time. You are certainly not tied down waiting on PUGs before you can enjoy the game. Thanks. I thought I'd check first because I got a little caught out when I bought Borderlands, which in single player mode I found to be one of the most tedious games I've ever played, seemingly forever grinding XP to level up.
  3. Is Diablo 3 worth getting for single player campaign mode, or is it designed to be primarily co-operative / online?
  4. He did have some very nice material at the time.
  5. Nice book with some great Garcia-Lopez artwork. If I remember correctly, Bob Smart was one of the organisers of the Manchester comic marts held at Piccadilly Plaza in the 70s. I was around 14 when I started going there, a kid, and he was incredibly patronising. As a result, I bought very little from him.
  6. That's brilliant. Love the way Lego Stephen Morris is pummelling away non-stop on the drums at the back.
  7. Travelling Man looks like it has quite a laid-back atmosphere. Tuck yourself in, read a trade paperback. Nice! They just had a couch a few years back, but things change.
  8. Darkseid can be a bit of a poser at times.
  9. With all of the weight training and exercise you're doing I can understand why you will need to double up your calorie intake, Chris. I'm not being fooled at all by the subtle inclusion of someone else on the extreme lower left of the photo.
  10. I'll be starting the MGS HD Collection soon, after I've completed the last Shivering Isles section of Oblivion on PS3 - assuming the add-on doesn't glitch or freeze again. MGS 4 : Guns of the Patriots, is also supposed to be excellent. Dan, you've played some extremely hard videogames... have you ever thought about having a go at Dark Souls?
  11. Thanks! The Neal Adams Spectre 2 is also very impressive. The cover colours are incredible.
  12. Just hazzarding a guess, it looks like a Bob Storm's scan. We had a PM chat about it.
  13. Some more BA purchases with great presentation, which is all that really matters to me ...
  14. Picked them up at LSCC. All of my books are pre-purchased. I don't handle the convention environment well, putting it mildly, and I don't have much confidence in my decision making under such conditions.
  15. Now i've hit 50, best not to risk injuring myself with a challenge quite that demanding. Better I stay with something sensible, such as Oblivion or Skyrim on medium difficulty. Elder Scrolls... that seems just right for me.
  16. Hopefully one day you, along with some randomness, will make it to the London con?
  17. I'm sure there must be many posts online already suggesting that any space created in the dump should be used to bury copies of Alien : Colonial Marines.
  18. That is so completely beyond my skill level.
  19. It's the kind of problem that suggests a firmware update might be required. Strange and disappointing that it happened on a brand-new system, because my copy of the film works perfectly in a 2-year-old Panasonic Blu-Ray player.
  20. Sorcerer Supreme, make him Wakandan = film crossover potential.
