  1. Last game I finished was Uncharted 1 on Crushing difficulty level. Not generally that hard overall, just a few short sections which are very challenging.
  2. Currently playing Saints Row 3. Doing a lot of the side missions.
  3. Yes, it's a great place. The capital of the North. England's second city. All that. I expected you to be much more vocal. This isn't a Silver Acre thread. Use the graemlin more sparingly.

  5. I'm sure I'll be very patriotic at the LSCC. I haven't been to a comic shop here in a year now. Lots of trades and HCs to catch up on. It'll be interesting to see what I can find.

  7. Big Bras !!! Does he have moobs? No. Father Ted reference, of course. Father Jack at the airport.
  8. That's certainly true and innately understood by most who participate in this thread.
  9. The longer the string of graemlins, the more chance I have to crack the code. They're falling into the trap sooner than I thought. But do I read the symbols up or down?
  10. I'm beginning to think that these long vertical sequences of graemlins are some form of code. They can't just be random or pointless. They just can't be.
  11. The ones with wings are called crows. (thumbs u
  12. That's the point. I want to collect something I won't have to bother spending money on because you won't be able to find it! It just takes time and patience. Trying to collect this BA stuff that is common as dirt in HG has been doing plenty of that already. The foreign stuff can really put you to the test. At times you have to deal with things like auction sites that you can't register with without a local address or phone number, language barriers, sellers who think you're trying to run a scam, time zone differences etc. It's enough to drive you crazy, believe me. I admire your commitment to a very challenging task.
  13. I thought everyone up North did anyway,.... Andrew's being diplomatic there. He means the communal outhouse.
  14. You should also get hold of a copy of Star Wars Weekly 1 from the UK.
  15. Hopefully they'll get around to putting the original version out in high-def eventually. Do it justice.
  16. Seriously?? Never heard of comic strip sections connected to the movie. Either way how utterly ridiculous. Still have my VHS copy on my shelf. Yup, no kidding. Luckily I checked the reviews on Amazon before purchasing it. No other DVD / BD version available.
  17. Great film. The first X certificate I saw at the cinema. I would get it on Blu-Ray, but there are some comic strip sections inserted into it throughout. Don't think it really needed messing around with like that. A pity.
  18. I'm a cheapskate who is happy just having Freeview. It'll probably end up on E4 soon, like Smallville did.
  19. The older you get the more you realize you may as well eat what you want. In moderation of course. Luckily the wife does at least attempt to keep me on the healthy straight and narrow. For many years I just lived off crisps and sandwiches. And alcohol. After eating a nice salad, perhaps you might finish with some original recipe American hotcakes, made with cornmeal and bear grease? But only in moderation.
