  1. This type of book can get dated and irrelevant quite quickly, as well.
  2. Some books I picked up at the recent London con...
  3. My favourite item from the London con... Pre-convention commission
  4. I have achieved 100% completion on Lego Star Wars : The Complete Saga. Not quite Ninja Gaiden, but that's the best I've got.
  5. Oh, I totally agree with that, pal !! That's right. Combining tedium with ADD isn't a great combination, in my case.
  6. I start out with the best of intentions to get to 100%, but my attention deficit inevitably defeats me - very quickly.
  7. It's a shame he didn't do much more interior art.
  8. Why of course. His artwork is spectacular, and most times easy to distinguish from others because of his colors and shadows. I still love reading through the first chapter of Rocketeer, and taking my time to enjoy the artwork. (thumbs u Great 15 page story by Stevens in AW 2, and also a shorter story with very nice Bruce Jones artwork. One of the best Pacific Comics issues.
  9. Beautifully-presenting book. Very happy with it.
  10. (thumbs u Besides Rocketeer, my favourite Stevens book. Nice interior art by him, as well. Picked the book up at the recent London con.
  11. For a current generation game, that looks appallingly bad. I always thought a Xenomorph was supposed to be lightning fast and aggressive, but from that clip it's behaving as if it's heavily sedated and completely out of it.
  12. In the window of a game shop today, I saw a poster ad for GTA 5 for the first time, which depicts a gangsta holding a baseball bat, with a hard-as-nails dog on a chain leash in front of him. A commendable and brave change of direction from Rockstar, then. Looking forward to it. (thumbs u
  13. seems to be the way with all games i want over here, wanna get God of War pack but still expensive Yes, sadly that's another HD upgrade I'm waiting to pick up - at the right price. Talking of MGS, anyone here like Splinter Cell? I thought the first 3 games were excellent.
  14. I really liked the Playstation 1 MGS game, if that's the one Dan means? The trilogy pack on PS3 has been out ages in the UK, but it's still quite pricey for something which is basically just a HD upgrade of games from an earlier console.
  15. I'm exactly the opposite. I would rather wait for a cheaper console and cheaper games.
  16. Now you understand why I said it's one of the very best survival horror games ever created. (thumbs u
  17. Looking forward to that one. Played San Andreas and GTA 4 a lot.
  18. Some very nice advertising art there. The guy's clearly incredibly talented and should try his hand at super-hero comics. He'd do very well.
  19. I stopped buying the title regularly at 175. Didn't like JRJR's art as much as Paul Smith's, and I wasn't enjoying the stories as much. I then only bought the issues by artists I collected at the time - BWS, Alan Davis, George Perez, Arthur Adams, Bill Sienkewicz. From that list you can tell I liked many of the Annuals. This has always been one of my favourite X-Men covers, very warm and rich colours when you see it in hand...
  20. Both on the list for buying when they fall into my price range, £10 to £15. I enjoy FPS games, but as Dan / Bronty said, it's much more fun to switch between a wide range of genres.
  21. Last game I finished was Uncharted 1 on Crushing difficulty level. Not generally that hard overall, just a few short sections which are very challenging.
  22. Currently playing Saints Row 3. Doing a lot of the side missions.
