  1. Not to be too cynical, guys, but is there one? I completed my runs years ago and so I haven't really been paying attention to prices/demand for BA war. But it seems like there's only a handful of people chasing these books. My wild guess would be maybe SSWS 151. What else from that era could really be considered key? GIC 138. SSWS 154. WWT 1 (cross-over appeal?). I'll be interested to read the War Report in the upcoming OSPG.
  2. Very nice copy! It's a swipe of a Prize comic http://www.comics.org/issue/3905/cover/4/ Thanks, adamstrange! And thanks for thelink to the Prize comic. That's a pretty cool cover, too.
  3. Hey, everybody -- I'm de-lurking again to show off my latest PCH book. This is a deslabbed 8.5 with OW/W pages. There's Matt Baker Seven Seas reprint story inside. (I'm also testing out a new scanner -- still fiddling with it. I scanned the book in the mylar, which is making it look a little fuzzy, to me anyway.) I thought maybe the girl on the cover was a swipe, anybody know for sure?
  4. I have been a dealer there a few times! What do you want to know? PM sent!
  5. Are any of you old-school/retro gamers familiar with an upcoming video game convention in PA called Too Many Games? http://www.toomanygames.com/ I was thinking of taking my sons, and I wondered how it was, and if there's enough stuff for little kids to do.
  6. Some familiar robots on the scrap heap...
  7. Been awhile since I posted any questions here, but I've got a few now -- How does the OA community feel about pieces with minor cosmetic damage, i.e glue stains, tanning, missing paste-ups, etc.? Is there more tolerance because the pieces are one-of-a-kind? Is it a bad idea to buy pieces with cosmetic damage (because they will be harder to resell)? Does it all boil down in the end to personal preferences? Thanks!
  8. I just read about this, pretty interesting stuff. Bronty -- including this one, how many known Stadium Events carts are out there?
  9. Thanks, Xaltotun & Theagenes! Yep Howard Works is the go to site for publication info. Both stories were just published in new collections from the REH Foundation. Black Wind Blowing is in Tales of Weird Menace. http://www.rehfoundation.org/publishing/tales-of-weird-menace/ And Graveyard Rats is in the Steve Harrison Casebook. http://www.rehfoundation.org/publishing/steve-harrisons-casebook/
  10. theagenes -- were those two REH Thrilling Mystery stories ever reprinted? Maybe with different titles? I'm working my way through the Del Rey collected Horror Stories of REH and those two aren't in it.
  11. Sweet! I like the later reprints that have new covers.
  12. This cover's not bad. Not trying to insult the artist, but I'm guessing it's a swipe?
  13. January was a good month for love! I picked up these three books... Don't miss the rapture of...Happy Ending! One more to come...a little tanning, but I'm cool with it.
  14. Another sweet book! And a Kirby cover, too!
  15. You're welcome, Fay, but don't thank me, thank the Wiki dudes.
  16. Wow...I remember buying this because it reminded me of Gamma World. I don't know if I should be or
