  1. Nope. The card just comes back with a little post-it sized sheet saying SU.
  2. Part of me wonders if it's due to the card being signed. I had cards come back as SU that were signed inserts.
  3. Where is the back of the gold one? Also, something to consider, CSG’s grading standards changed when they went from the green to black labels, so it’s possible that the 9.5 may have had a 9 centering grade if it had subs.
  4. If you really feel your card met the minimum dimensions, contact customer service.
  5. Try logging out and logging back in. There might be some loop that is causing the decline.
  6. I have a feeling that, since the Trout card is a new 9.5 (vs an old 9.5), the points end up much lower.
  7. These are images of the front and back of the packs, as well as the front and back of the stickers. If you notice on the back: Coca Cola version says “INDUSTRIA ARGENTINA” Brazil version says “Made in Brazil by Panini Brasil Ltda. Barueri - SP” Normal pink back version says “Made in Italy by PANINI S.p.A. - Modena”
  8. Does CSG acknowledge these as a separate issue or just call them “pink back” on the labels? I noticed that CSG doesn’t acknowledge the Brasil variation versus the widely available Modena version, so before I waste time/money getting the Coca Cola version graded, I was hoping to get it clarified.
  9. Why did you quote me for this comment? I never said the thick holders were bad.
  10. Thanks. I guess they’ll be highly disappointed when they find out in a few years that the O/C cards are worth way less.
  11. Anyone understand why TCG collectors place a premium on O/C cards (to the point that O/C centering is sought out) vs sportscards collectors docking the grade for O/C?
  12. No. The thicker holders are for cards that they can’t guarantee will fit safely/securely in the regular holder. That is why CSG is able to grade cards even 135 pt thick.
  13. The $12 bulk (25 cards or more) is their price for 2023, so it’s no longer a special: that is the actual rate now.
  14. Set type should be: player company issue regional issue … I think. I’m not sure on the naming for the last two, but I know player is one.
  15. If you posted the scans, you might be able to get a “second opinion,” though that might be tough, given this is a board for a grading company. Most responses will be “Submit the cards to find out.”
  16. What probably happened is Topps purchased a jersey from someone that Parker had signed, and you were the person who got the signature swath.
  17. I’m telling you: scan the cards on a flatbed scanner at 600+ DPI and look at the printing pattern.
  18. That process would apply to a card that I own. I don’t have possession of the fantasy cards. The person who got CSG to authenticate them does.
  19. The dumb thing for me is I had, in the same order, two cards returned SU and two IT. The two SU were Front Row Japanese, so I kind of assumed that might not be a big one, but I figured "Why not?" The two IT were a soccer card from Reyauca Venezuela and a Griffey auto from 1991. The Griffey was a family authorized issue through Lime Rock (which is actually in the population report), and the Reyauca one stumps me, since they seem to be refusing to grade the specific year.
  20. I've had cards come back IT. I didn't know I was charged for them. That is quite disturbing to find out that I was charged for those cards.
  21. The lack of properly applied ink would usually be a detractor, as a print defect, not a specialized category. The exception is when it results in significantly observable changes (NNOF Frank Thomas being the most widely accepted). The reason this is generally the case is doing otherwise would result in the entire problem that gets encountered with the 1989 Fleer Randy Johnson "Marlboro visible" vs "Marlboro partially obscured" red version.
  22. They didn’t grade said sneakers. They *did* grade the autos on those sheets.
  23. From what I see, the card isn’t damaged, what you see is the plastic or rubber moulding. That isn’t the card wrinkle that you think it is.
