  1. Bound volumes are typically trimmed after the books are bound together, so depending on the size of the book, the degree of trimming will vary. Some miss a trim altogether, some get nicked, some get fully chopped. But I've seen books with a 0.5 cm full trim in CBCS holders without notation.
  2. Some of the books were trimmed to varying degrees, others not. I don't recall this one specifically. But I wouldn't trust CBCS to catch trimming.
  3. That's because after 2 years you finally got back all the subs you had sent in and could sell them.
  4. This came out of a collection of bound volumes that Jason Ewert sold in the 1990s. There were scads of great books in that find. I got this, a 39, AMF 2.12, Science 2, and a few others that I can't recall. Lovely colors and great paper. Congrats!
  5. I don't think you'll get any complaints about sharing these. Congrats!
  6. Where does "Blackman" fit in? There are 10 on the census, but it's a 4 figure book and pretty sought after.
  7. For routine pressing, I would never use them. I had 50 or so books go through a HA submission a few years ago and 3 had a staple popped. Others were bought and pressed to higher grades by others. For more complex restoration Kenny & Matt are outstanding.
  8. When left to his own devices Burgos did some amazing covers for Atlas. When he tried to tinker with others covers he more often made them worse.
  9. Thanks! 7 has a killer Heath story to go with the great cover. In fact most of these have a great story or two.
  10. Thanks Jay! My Atlas war collection owes a lot to you!
  11. If you can find 2 more that they missed we can bump it down to 69... nice.
  12. 10 years from now they'll have an app. (spoiler, it's going to be a .pdf version for your phone)
  13. That's the epitome of Overstreet. Wait 25 years to catch up to things being online, and then basically offer the same product only online. This sounds like a .pdf version of the guide. "But it's online!"
