Respectfully disagree in the case of pedigrees and signature series. Every comic is owned temporarily, and the owner is a custodian. For pedigree comics with a provenance, the custodial responsibility can be argued to be more important than the circumstance of the owner of the moment. According to this argument, preserving the provenance and historical nature of a pedigree comic is a responsibility of the custodian. To those holding this view, pressing and creator signatures run counter to the custodial responsibility.

Well put and I totally agree.

With so many low grade, restored examples of books out there why use a high grade pedigree for a signature.

Exactly. I just got an Avengers 4 in .5 that was signed by Stan Lee. Yep .5 it was missing a non story page.

That is one mighty nice .5 though, but perfect for sig. series.

Not a ped but here is a .5 SS B4yqH0wEWkKGrHqQOKkQEyPB29-mZBMrMLfnIhQ_3.jpg

(shrug):screwy: Why not get a white pager 8.0 or 8.5 that looks much better for cheaper ? I don't get it either ? Seller must be happy.

  5. I hate that the episode leaked online,

I hate that I learned it leaked online,

I hate that I couldn't NOT download it immediately after learning this,

I hate that I didn't have the discipline to NOT watch it,

I hate that I'm now waiting for episode 2 and have to wait longer for new WD. :frustrated:

I did however, LOVE the show.

  7. If your puppy wakes you up at 4:34 am and you get up because you figure she must have to go to the bathroom but when you let her out she just flops down on the floor and goes back to sleep, did you just get owned ?

  8. I don't think those "dots" are dirt or foxing. Looks like a bit of the black ink may have smudged a tad during the printing process.

Book's a stone cold killer, and may be the nicest copy in existence.

That is something I would like to know if I had the money to buy this book. Print flaw on 9.6 (thumbs u Foxing on a 9.6  The price difference between a 9.4 and 9.6 can be huge and if it is foxing it shouldn't be allowed in a 9.6.
