Many of the books I buy are at shows, through Instagram, or directly through a dealer, and these are not reflected in GPA. I use GPA as a guide and it helps. Hopefully, the speed of the site will speed up soon.

It depends. Some shop up fast...some seem to take months if they show at all.

That price is another very good sale for AF 15, especially with the tape. It looks to me based on the past few sales that the book has come back fairly strong.

Who pays for the return shipping ? do you have to refund him the shipping he paid when he purchased the book?

That seems to be the going rate for a 5.5..the prior sale on gpa was 21,500.

I own a Hulk 1 in the same grade but am very curious what it sells for as it is a really nice copy.

I like it. It is easy to use and I like the fact that their are pictures of each book sold if you subscribe. I have found though that it can be slow in placing new sales on their site while GPA reports them faster.

I purchased the Iron Man 1 from jamie and he shipped it fast and it was well packed. I wouldnt hesitate to buy more books from him in the future.

It’s interesting that all I did was point out that 2 strong sales just occurrred and automatically they are outliers. Maybe they are or maybe they are not but please don’t compare the number 1 Marvel silverage book to variants. Isn’t it a good thing that 2 strong sales just occurred? There was a low sale of 28800 and now a strong one at 41k. It shows me that there is still demand for this book. I would never touch a variant for more than cover price.

I never was a fan of variants. The problem with most variants is they get hot for a few months and then no one wants them anymore as they come out on weekly basis and then everyone wants the new variant until the next one comes out shortly after. There are exceptions of course. I agree. None of the marvel silver age keys are rare but they have iconic first appearances which have always sold well throughout the years. Just my opinion.

Outliers possibly..but except for that one low 28800 sale of that 5.0, prices have been fairly consistent among the 4.0, 4.5 and 5.0 ranges. Plus these recent sales show that there are still strong sales.

A 5.0 sale for 41k is also listed gpa. Anyone have a link to the sale?

I just noticed thar GPA has just listed sales of a 4.5 at $37,500 and a 5.0 at $41,000. These sales plus some solid sales for 4.0s recently seem to indicate a possible comeback on prices. Hopefully, these strong sales continue!
