  1. i seen people get hit pretty hard on centering , i watched almost every csg reveal on youtube csg is more harsh on centering then not and really harsh on surface if csg gets any more tougher on grading no one is gonna send cards in, check out Deviationcards on youtube and Nunzo cards they both use csg and grade mostly vintage, Deviation cards collects all 1950s Browns cards, should give ya a good idea of the vintage accuracy, those 2 guys are seasoned vintage collectors and know there stuff very helpful for vintage collector looking to send cards to csg, hope that helps
  2. i doubt they would change the green its all there marketing, there logo, this webpage everything csg is green, i hope i didnt buy a bunch of green cards for nothing ha
  3. yeah 100% i operate pretty much the same way, im more of a collector too but try and sell to cover my hobby expense if possible and I price very fair unless its something im on the fence about selling ill raise the price. I just noticed alot of csg slabs with great cards that are gemmints starting real low to start and if that continues the perception of csg slabs will never increase for BIN, at least start with close to psa comps lets face it more then likely a csg gemmint or pristine is a better card then a psa 10, its tougher to get those grades at csg the market is gonna have to start to reflect it at some point, csg values are going up tho theres a guy on youtube who compares recent sales and csg with the same grades as psa sold for a good amount more a few times
  4. they sent out a survey about changing the flip and someone had a reference for it on youtube saying that they are definantly making a change, I like the green i even started buying green refractors and green teams to match csg maybe a black boarder to condense the flip a little but hoping nothing too drastic but thats just me lots of people not digging the flip apparently people dont like green which i think is BS they just dont like change psa's bright flouresant red doesnt match any cards
  5. Is csg going to change the flip? Is csg gonna change the green? if there is a change can existing slabs get sent back? Is the slab design gonna change along with the flip? curious to hear csg clients opinions not just csg haters on youtube
  6. ha yeah not too many buyers gonna use there money cause the seller wanted his cards back in 5days 😂 but i want to see overpriced csg slabs itll help when ya sell your csg slabs at a fair price, theres insanely overpriced psa slabs it just helps psa its bout time csg gets some overpriced slabs online too
  7. Think Jose Uribe when selling your slabs! alot of collectors especially new collectors thought jose uribe was a $2000 card when its a 10cent card, csg our tough graders a csg 10 should be more then a psa 10 so price it like that to start, then go down eventually it will catch on like the jose uribe card or jim edmonds card and ya'll know what im talkin about, dont lowball the slab out the gate itll never go up in value if ya dont price it as so, anythoughts?
  8. i got a lot of 2 of these raw on now up for 50$ i cant move em, i guess lamelo's jump shot was falling off cause they were goin for $50 a piece at least
  9. right, csg sellers need to stop low ballin themselves too, i see somethin go up like why you low ballin right out the gate, sometimes just seeing a high price will get buyers use to the idea of paying a high price, start high for a little bit then go down when its time for reality ha goodluck!
  10. agree completely, i check the psa pop report for everything now but its not the same, I wanna see if anyone else got the same card graded wit csg and how they did how many gem mints of it exc. there should be enough data by now, at the moment i look all over the internet and ebay to check csg grades on specific cards, pop report would be a little easier even if there is just 1 card its something to compare
  11. yep i wouldnt mind gettin my cards back in a week but i cant get around it and I like black they just seem cheap its more like a case and not a slab but thats just my preference dont wanna bash i like that theres graders to choose from they keep prices fair and prevent a monopoly
  12. ive thought about this myself especially for that jordan rookie, you can go to a card show and submit on site if it makes you more comfortable, that way you get top price for your cards
  13. i wasnt gonna get em but changed my mind, especially for the higher value cards, i think it helps if ya only get hit on one thing that lowers the grade, all 10's and a 9 on centering looks better then just a 9.5, and i kinda wanna know where i got hit with high value card, and overall flip looks better with em, for a $500 card and up ill cough up the extra $10
  14. agree, yea im still holdin back on a few big cards debating to wait for psa because its a such a major value difference with high value cards, you dont like csg for vintage? i was nervous subing vintage with csg but started watching alot of vintage csg reveals and changing my mind not as harsh as i thought on vintage, your right market is already gettin flooded with slabs even on base cards, im only buying low pop or low print run cards, even psa slabs are decreasing in price at times i bought a few psa 10's dirt cheap last week, alot of grading companies will keep the grading fees reasonable hopefully but your right most wont make it a year when psa n bgs return even csg hga n sgc wit there increased prices gonna take a hit
  15. some buy it now price comparisons, keep in mind it doesnt mean there selling at these prices but looks like csg sellers are gaining confidence if that matters ha
  16. fair enough my apologies that was a little uncalled for, as far as roi are those cards worth 150-200$ fee at psa for top value? Its fair to say its better to flip cards with hga or sgc at this time for an increased roi and its definantly not wrong so my bad your entitled to your opinion. im hoping for your 150 slabs more people continue to sub with csg so all of our csg values go up down the line, but your right it doesnt mean flippers should take a hit in some bigger plan for csg values to increase in the future.
  17. my bad they have nice slabs but no security features at all no QR exc.
  18. low pop is always a safe bet but also i been buying csg slabs of classic cards that are real high value psa but cheap csg for example 1987 fleer jordan got good deals on csg 7 and csg 8's, Brady rookies and 2nd year cards, any kind of Brady shine , Trout rookies n 2nd year cards, cards your psa slabs gonna wack ya for get these big cards in csg slabs while there cheap, Kobe rookies! you can get a guarenteed mint card for 3/4 the price right now, just how i been operating its your hobby tho goodluck!
  19. why are you on a csg chat if you wouldnt sub with them especially popular rookies like acuna n tatis, are you just trying to sabotage a new sports grading company? ya run out of old ladies to mug? doing a little research is one thing but totally discouraging someone to use a company sounds like ya got stock in sgc maybe personally pass on being on a csg site if ya have no intention of ever using them
  20. i would send to csg there good value cards but not worth $200 grading fee at psa, $500 is a good price for that card if he or she gets it, i think there perfect cards for csg the more csg slabs on ebay the more value we will get, collectors know the grading is fair and more on the tuff side if there buying for the card theyll start buying csg slabbed cards 🤞 ha worse comes to worse sub em at csg and if psa really comes back at $10 a card crack em n resend em with a damn good idea of what the grades will be or most likely get a grade higher
