  1. You could console yourself by interpreting the title as "Copper is Heating/Selling Well on Ebay.
  2. The 40 and the 57 came from Michael, and I think the 4: https://www.myslabbedcomics.com/GalleryRoom.asp?Page=1&GSub=1171
  3. Michael lovingly created almost every book in his collection - sourcing the 9.8 copies and arranging to have the signatures done. Nearly every book has multiple signatures. I have owned several of his dupes and was involved in many of the same signings that created his copies. One of the finest gentlemen in the Sig Series game, and someone that I grudgingly had to admit, very early on, loved Sandman even more than I did!
  4. That cult and the Invunche scared me more than anything else in Moore's run.
  5. Falcon, Vision, Quicksilver, War Machine, Scarlet Witch, Doctor Strange, Thor Best fighting team, but definitely under-resourced
  6. What - you want to see a Totleben Swamp Thing with a massive tribal tattoo . . . https://www.myslabbedcomics.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=12474&GSub=248
  7. It is a very logical opinion. And I have pretty much been "wrong" about the Stan Lee thing, because his sigs still impart value, despite his lack of direct involvement. As this market develops over time, the nexus between book and desirable creator may grow wider.
  8. That is definitely possible - but I was pretty vocal about not getting Stan's sig on books that he didn't work on as well. So hopefully you can mark me up some points for consistency.
  9. Maybe - in all seriousness though, if you are looking for investment potential, I see Claremont as adding ZERO unless you can find someone who is buying for Registry points. There are lots of copies with Len Wein and a lot with Stan as well.
  10. Yeah - he at least has a tenuous connection to the book. I will amend my never in a million years to never in a hundred years.
  11. I don't know how credible this source is - but this is attributed to Claremont Chris Claremont’s involvement in Giant Size X-Men #1 “Most of the story had already been mapped out, with the existing X-Men…trapped at the mercy of Krakoa, only Cyclops having escaped to lead a new, untested assemblage into battle to save his comrades. What didn’t exist yet, said Claremont, was ‘a way to get rid of Krakoa,’ which he supplied."
  12. Not by Claremont - never in a million years.
  13. Isn't another way to look at this just simply that the movie hype money is gone for this book. Most keys are inflated by speculator dollars and when the speculator money goes away it drops to where it finds an equilibrium with collectors. It's not so much that it is cold or unloved or not a key or "being punished," it's just that the spec money is completely gone and never coming back - until there is a complete reboot (hopefully with J'onn J'onzz)
  14. Did you accidentally type your telephone number (with area code) into the profile box marked "Name?"
  15. You are going to have to dig deeper into Google Translator to get something that can be answered.
  16. Weird Mystery Tales #1 in 9.8 is a $1000 book
  17. I don't think "possible ink blotches" is a recognized printing error.
