Hey guys. Could use some Joe help here. I tried looking for the Joe thread in Modern, but could not find it. So forgive me if I’m posting in the wrong thread. I’m trying to decide if this book is worth grading. I believe it’s #34, Red Foil, Graham Cracker variant. I understand it was limited to 1,000?🤔. Anyway, I’d say it’s in 9.2-9.4. Is it worth getting certified or signed?

Dude, hold it for now. Wait for a McGuinness Op, and have him sign it again. You’ll get a Yellow label, with a green trim. Might even get a grade bump. Signature Qualified will look badass! And you’ll have a book with the best of both worlds: DF certification and CGC Signature certification!

Rich has found a few raw issues that came back 9.8’s for me during my time on the boards. Can’t say enough about him. I’m raising my Heineken to him right now.

What’s wrong with the Green Label? Get another signature on the book and go for the Signature Qualified grade. The Yellow Label looks great with a green trim. If it comes back high grade with a witnessed signature, the unwitnessed Jock signature will be a bonus for collectors!👍🏽

I honestly think the yellow label with the green trim looks good. People have been getting “unverified” signatures on their books for years. Not to mention the fact that plenty of books come signed with Certificates of Authenticity. Best of luck on getting the Signature Qualified label! I’ve got two books I’d like to submit myself... once life gets back to normal...

Been giving some thought to Signature Qualified labels lately. It’s a label I don’t see very often. It’s an interesting prospect, to me. Let’s say I have a Hulk 340 with an unverified Peter David signature. Then, I get a witnessed McFarlane signature. Book comes back with a Signature Qualified label, 9.8. Would you be willing to pay the premium for the book? Or, is the Green trim of the qualified label something that would prevent you from putting the slab in your collection? If you have any Signature Qualified labels, please show them off here!

I had a poster of that Symbiote Spidey way back in the day. Never knew they put that poster on a comic! Awesome!
