No HOS or probies. Pms welcome but first in the thread gets the book. PayPal preferred and pmt is requested by the end of the day (9/28) - if not book will be relisted. Returns accepted within 3 days of receipt. Shipping is included within the US or to Canada.
Just one raw book today - PHANTOM LADY #18. Beautiful Baker art and a VERY hard to find book. I am calling it a 3.0 but please look at the pics and make your own determination. Avg wear for the grade (edge wear, chipping, pen marking, light staple rust). Should sell for considerably more but my boardie friendly price is $1100

All opinions would be welcome

Anybody want to guess?

Possibly considering this book. Was wondering what you all thought. Not sure what the darker area is on the right side - I am hoping it is just dirt as there is no bleed though to the inner cover. Unfortunately I don't have the book in hand so these pics are the best I have

First in the thread trumps all but PMs are welcome. Shipping is included within the US or to Canada. Overseas - we can discuss. Returns accepted within one week though you cover the shipping. PayPal preferred and payment expected within three days or book will be relisted.
Just one book in this thread. Some Matt Baker romance - CINDERELLA LOVE #28. IMHO - this is the second best CL cover he did. I'm calling it a 3.0. Typical wear for the grade but everything attached. SOLD

Personally, I think that both sites are just as easy to navigate.
Although the CC site has a definite advantage in terms of providing potential bidders with a back cover image, I feel that the descriptive info provided by CL on each book can sometimes be helpful at times. It's just a matter of wading through the info provided by them and not falling for the upsell hype that is also there at the same time.
From a consignor's point of view though, the descriptive info provided for each book on CL is a definite selling feature, as opposed to CC whereby they simply give each book the bare bones info (except for the exact same stick info on key books) and it's up to the books to really sell themselves or for a knowledgeable potential bidder to know themselves. Although there seems to be some improvement lately, CC really needs to up their game here if they want to get the quality consignments for their auctions, even if it means they have to hire an additional knowledgeable person to do this.
Totally agree. The guys at CL really do put a lot of effort into the descriptions. A major reason why I have consigned only with them thus far

I understand why you can't show the prices scraped from auction houses that have not given permission, but are you allowed to account for those numbers in your FMV estimates?
In other words, if CLink sold a copy of Adventure 210 in 7.0 recently, but no other venues have, will the FMV estimate you give be near/at that number?
The big selling point of your site is access to data from sites that don't disclose to GPA. I don't want to pay for the same raw data through two services.
You know I have always been a bit confused by this. Isn't all auction sales data a matter of public record? The auction house may refuse to freely give out that intel but if you can obtain it through other means I would have thought it valid. I am not sure how public auction data can be deemed proprietary

Question - most boardies know that all these copies that surface of Major Inapak came from a warehouse find. But I would be interested in the backstory of this. Were other ME books included as well?

I remember those Friskies very well. They were beautiful copies of a title that wasn't easy to find.
Boy that is a gorgeous book

Love that AA #89! First Harlequin and oh so tough. A bit overlooked I think. I consider myself lucky to have a lower grade copy at all.
Thanks RM - was lucky enough to find a nice collection of DCs, Timelys and oddball stuff from the mid to late 40s in FN-VF grade. A lot headed to CLink.
Back to Teen Humor - was also lucky to get this one recently

Are they in the thicker slabs? Those seem to avoid the problem.
They might be. Don't have them in hand right now to check

I can't see that getting a 9.8. I was thinking more along a 9.0-9.2 with those light corner wear and spine wear. We are in a tough grading period also
