    Not a record. Certain Neo Geo games are worth over 10k. Also the NES world champ cart has sold for as much as 5- 6k, reportedly.

    I think the value is more in the Ultima brand than the vic 20 brand. I don't know for sure, but don't think vic 20 stuff would at all be expensive in general. But that ultima game is rare and is the very first ultima game. With the millions of people playing ultima online I guess it's to be expected that the first "appearance" of the franchise, in a rare form like that, would be worth some money.
