Sounds like a euphamism

Chris Hemsworth said that his funny line in the movie Ragnarok, "He's a friend from work" came from a boy who was visiting the set that day. They tried improving a bunch of lines there, and then the boy who was visiting said, "You should try, 'I know him, he's a friend from work'." They all laughed and Chris tried it, and they kept it in the movie. It's kind of the equivalent to what's going on in this comic panel.... a fan giving the superhero the line to say.

Archie 47 has 2 great Bob Montana pin-ups. One of V & one of B. If they would have used one of the pin-ups for the cover, Archie 47 would have easily been as sought after as Archie 50. Here's a recreation I did of 47 using the Veronica pin-up. I'm going to make the Betty one too.

Archie 47 has 2 of the greatest Bob Montana "pin-ups" in all of Archie history. I've always thought that if either of the pin-ups were used for the cover, it would have become a Key-Issue (like Archie 50). So I decided to recreate the cover to 47 using the pin-ups. This one is Veronica. I'll do the Betty one soon.

I'd love to give it a 6.0, but it just doesn't make it. 5.5

Yeah, your photos are screwy and I think are making the comic look worse than it is. But even so, I think you're looking at a 1.0 - 1.5. Congrats are in order though, it's such a great book to have. I'm jealous.

Keep all of your photos of the interior. They can be helpful when selling.

Suzie 67 SIGNED by Bill Woggon on a Katy Keene page. I see this as a solid 6.0. It would look even nicer after a press. Cover and Cf are solid at the staples. Nice rounded spine. There is a long scuff near the spine on the front, and a small crease on the back in the upper left. $175 $160

That's a really cool find. I love stuff like this. I also love the cowboy/indian switch between covers.
