  1. I'll let you know. I just sent in my loose Af 15 pages and wraps today. I used the Economy Tier. That one goes up to $400 per item.
  2. I remember that. I think I helped you find it. You got that with a buy it now, right? I forget, did that 1 page complete your copy? Did you ever unslab it to add it to your copy?
  3. I'm thinking it myself. I have a coverless incomplete that is missing the staples. It's missing the CF and 3 single pages. Now I'm thinking instead of keeping it together I should break it apart. Seems like I could make about $10k or so. This auction result astounds me. I guess 2 or more people REALLY needed that wrap.
  4. And page 12 which has no artwork whatsoever on either side just sold for $382. That's more than many Superman 1 pages (that HAVE art) have sold for. http://www.ebay.com/itm/401213706452?ssPageName=STRK:MEDWX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1435.l2649
  5. Just wow $1625? For 1 wrap? I paid $1900 3 years ago for a nice remaindered copy. How is this possible? It's not even the CF.
  6. Not seeing much difference. Possibly just random variation in how the different colors were laid down on the page caused the size of the white box to vary a bit? There is 100 % ABSOLUTELY a difference in type used! Nice find. I checked out some back issues of it on Heritage and there are examples of both so I'm not sure there's a huge rarity on one over the other. Pretty interesting.
  7. Here's a puzzling one..... 1 year ago this month a FF 1 6.5 Pence sold for $20,315. The 6.5 cent copies were averaging $12,328 last year. That's gotta be an outlier. Although it was the highest graded pence copy of FF1 so maybe that contributed to the price.
  8. As far as I can tell from going through GPA, yes that's the highest price ever paid for a Pence copy.
  9. This subject needs a bump again. I just noticed a Hulk 1 Pence 7.5 sold for $40,157 on Sept 1 2016 Two Hulk 7.5 Cent copies have sold in 2016. They averaged $40,630 What's going on here? Is it finally happening??? Are Pence copies getting some "rarity respect"? The Hulk 7.5 pence was the highest graded copy so maybe it got a bump from that. There have only been 24 universal Hulk 1 pence copies graded by CGC. Compare that with 892 universal cent copies that have been graded. Has anyone noticed other Marvel Pence copies going for higher percentages recently?
  10. That is some tight grading! What a gorgeous copy. It's going to do really well. Damn that is a nice looking copy. -J. I was going to say that certainly this one would be a new record high, but then I looked at the last sale for a 6.5..... $51,070 and the sale before that..... $48,800 6.5s are on fire. Makes me wonder what the next 7.0 will go for.
  11. That is some tight grading! What a gorgeous copy. It's going to do really well. Someone must have forgotten to bribe the graders! Squeggs, I was not accusing.... I was only wondering out loud. I'll use my inner voice next time.
  12. That is some tight grading! What a gorgeous copy. It's going to do really well.
  13. GPA has it at $9145 Fairly in line with other 2.5s, but I do have to admit it's a good looking 2.5. (from the front)
  14. I absolutely hate that this is a thing now. agreed..... If people wanna own a page, and enjoy it. What's bad about that? Most people can't afford a complete issue. I think its great. There are a lot of slabbed books out there that look like they were used to put out a fire with nice interior pages. Breaking them out into pages does them justice and brings them back to life. As long as the price of single pages doesn't go crazy to the point where we have someone breaking down books to slab as pages when the book didn't deserve it, that would be bad It will be interesting to see the final price verses a AF15 in poor or coverless condition. Up until now I have only seen GA keys as single pages, I did bid on an Action #1 page a while back but no joy for me Any guesses what it will end up selling for? Because it's a wrap and not a single page it's going to go for at least double what the single pages have been going for. I'll guess $500-$600
  15. Something interesting here is that they have the wrap turned inside out from the way it would be in the comic. I guess you can request that when you slab a wrap so as to show the best panels. In this case, they did the right thing because the spidey page they are showing is much more important than the other side of the page. Seems like they could have at least turned it inside out on the spine instead of where they folded it. It makes the back side look strange.
  16. Wow! Coverless and incomplete yet you still got $2500. Congrats FlyingDonut
  17. I used to date a Hispanic girl named Dolores. She hated her name because of the famous "Seinfeld" episode (you know the one), "rhymes with female anatomy" She also didn't like what her name meant. Dolores = Sorrow/Grief/Pain of Mary I've only seen the 1st episode but I can see why they named the young lady Dolores.
  18. Nice comic references in the movie. It goes by fast on the screen. What did you see? I only caught Action 1 and All-American 16, but saw there were more. I would think Affleck would have wanted Tec 27.
  19. How is a book that nice even possible?
  20. Because of Mike Colter's thick southern accent.
  21. Are the .5 price points about halfway between those numbers or not so much. It really jumps from 5.0 to 6.0 to 7.0. Very interested to see how prices react to movie release. The .5s all show gains too (except for the highest grades of .5s). 8.5 has adjusted downward. 7.5 stayed the same. But every other .5 has had nice gains, some have been huge.
  22. I think the Super High Grade 110s had crazy prices in 2014 which have made an adjustment downward. Some of those 2014 prices were shocking. I wish I would have sold my 9.0 in 2014. But otherwise: 8.0 2014=$6,700 2016=$7,300 7.0 2014=$3800 2016=$5600 6.0 2014=$2500 2016=$3300 5.0 2014=$1750 2016=$2150 4.0 2014=$1400 2016=$1800 3.0 2014=$880 2016=$950 2.0 2014=$640 2016=$925 1.8 2014=$510 2016=$675
  23. It's currently already happening since that last trailer's recent release. Yeah, it seemed like it plateaued for a while, but it's trending up in pretty much all grades again.
