  1. That thread looks the same to me as it did 7-8 hours ago. The OP normally lists books with grade & price, then follows with scans asking that no one post “takes” until all images are up. One or two people jumped the gun early, then others followed suit thinking it was “go” time. It didn’t look like any posts were poofed as of a minute ago.
  2. I don’t think the members answering you were considering anything as nefarious as a seller drop shipping someone else’s books, but the more common or practical reason a barcode would be blacked out. It might be of benefit for boardies both in the UK and the States if you would “out” the dealer who’s engaging in this practice.
  3. The book is at $21.59 with about an hour to go. I’d hate to bid against someone who genuinely wants the book, or to artificially raise the price as well.
  4. The auction has another 24-25 hours to go and sits at $18.51 currently.
  5. He shouldn’t expect you to pay the CGC fee. What I found interesting is one, someone is actually using that Review service, and two, for such a (relatively) low dollar book. He was willing to pay an additional 40%+ for that comic which is what I found most surprising. I don’t see anyone on these boards ever talking about themselves or customers using that CGC service since it was announced a year or so back.
  6. Just for clarity on my end, the customer paid $15 for the CGC Expert Review Service to authenticate and give a grade opinion for a raw comic you posted online? That adds an interesting element to the story, particularly for a book he thought he was getting for $34($49 altogether).
  7. I just noticed a post/reply was “consolidated” in the last few minutes.
  8. If it’s the All-Star Western #10 (DC 1972), here’s the census link: https://www.cgccomics.com/census/grades_standard.asp?title=All+Star+Western&issue=10&publisher=D.C.+Comics&year=1972&issuedate=2-3/72 * Not sure why we’re looking for that particular book based off that sentence fragment, but there’s a meme already so I guess we’ll just go with it. @andypanda - Welcome to the CGC forums!
  9. You’ll get better response posting in the Want to buy/trade section of the forum. https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/forum/50-comics-market-want-to-buy/ Welcome to the boards by the way!
  10. If the boards are curved now then they’re not serving the function you placed them there for. Are the comics starting to fall over or bow?
