  1. Fwiw, the concern with centering of the Numeric grade has been brought up right from the start.
  2. Another couple dozen books arrived. What can I say? If you’re an actual reader of comics, Paperheart’s always got some good offerings on trades, mini-series, collected story arcs, etc. All the boxes get checked here: communication, packing, yada yada yada.... It’s cool to get comics from someone else who so obviously enjoys comics themselves.
  3. Is the seller someone who regularly sells comics or someone who operates an online garage sale on eBay? That to me would be the difference between not dealing with the person again or just offering feedback how (most) comic buyers expect their comics packaged/shipped.
  4. I wasn’t too fond of the custom labels, but thought this one looked nice, the brighter label art over the more muted covers of the comic page. This led me to thinking if going forward people insist on slabbing individual pages of a book, CGC(or whoever) could place a smaller thumbnail of the actual comic cover a particular page is from on the label. Sort of ties the two images together. I’m sure the logistics are too convoluted or expensive, but I think it would make for a nice presentation.
  5. I don’t mean to repeat myself, but... It’s like deja vu all over again. To add: Azkaban’s reliable and friendly to talk/pm with, offers good pricing, and is consistent with his assigned grades. I’ll keep going back to the well as long as he’ll have me.
  6. There’s a few different wooden frames offered for both graded and raw comics on Etsy. Use this link as a jumping off point. https://www.etsy.com/listing/819692795/graded-comic-book-display-frame-black?ref=related-4&frs=1
  7. I think the back cover to the original includes Robin standing next to Bats with his arms folded. Back scan from HA
  8. Please add: X-Men Noir #1-4 Icons: Tigra #1-4 Atom Eve #1-3 There may be more as I poke around. Thanks.
  9. I do like many of the Dell photo covers. For Malibu, I’ll have to dig some up. I know the name, but can’t recall anything I’ve read.
  10. Another group of books arrived, shipped quickly, packed well, and grades are as advertised. Even included a neat Thor freebie that I didn’t have a copy of! Awesome!
  11. I saw that they’re still using both Action 27 and 29 to denote the first cover app. I thought that was resolved sometime ago, but I guess not. I see GCD lists #27 as first, but OPG lists #29.
  12. No, this X-Men book happened to be easy to spot. All the others in question were photographed at an angle where the small print on the label wasn’t visible, nor was resto mentioned anywhere in the description. Books without the character labels were photographed head on, with the label entirely clear and readable.
  13. That same book had been one of the “character blue labels” that he was called out on in that thread from 31 July. I get that he wants to sell it, but he should absolutely note the resto. No excuse for it this time, IMO.
  14. I was just about to ask you what “part off” meant.
  15. This is why I was wondering about Qualified vs. Universal in some instances. The “scuffs” are just bad glare from the light.
  16. Sounds like you were trying to game the system. I'm glad they didn't give you a GLOD. Should this Scooby-Do #1 be a .5(or other) with missing centerfold, or does it make a difference if the story/art are affected?
  17. Please. Doctor Strange 1 Thor 184, 232 Marvel Team Up 45, 54, 64 Black Goliath 2 Pep 300
  18. It’s just me again. I wandered into another of Paperheart’s sales threads, and here we are a few days later with a package of trades arriving timely and safely. Always reliable. Thanks for the books!
