  1. I recall the Kamandi comic that had a Captain America drawing on it(known as “Cap-n-Mandi”) that went around to different boardies for a time, and more recently the Kraven action figure. @CAHokie - did Kraven ever make it back home?
  2. The inconsistency with fonts is curious. Even just comparing Two Gun Kid #62 to the TOS #39 higher up the page appears to be different fonts, and both books would have been published at the same time, or at least have the same cover date.
  3. The shop from that stamp is still in business!
  4. Anyone know what the bolded portion below means, and are there currently elite Pedigree collections for MTG or Pokémon trading cards? "To pedigree a card to a previous owner, that collector or collection must be considered to be significant by CGC Trading Cards and sufficient documentation must be provided to confirm the requested pedigree. You can pedigree a card to yourself, typically without providing any documentation."
  5. Cool to flip through the 28 page Sotheby’s catalog, unfortunate there’s only one snapshot of the collection on shelves. Doesn’t begin to show the width and breadth of the collection imo.
  6. This is over my head. I thought “antiquarium” were people who were against other folks keeping fish as pets.
  7. What would a Cerebus #1 9.8 bring at auction? Not many sales to reference(No 9.8’s on census), but a year or so back I believe a 9.4 sold for $18k, so I’d think this book would make it to the conversation.
  8. It should be Sub-Mariner #19. What If? is a “fantasy story”, whereas Subby 19 is regular continuity. What If #11 is popular with cover collectors who don’t care what’s inside.
  9. Nice! If you have info or any photos please share over here: Is your NM still raw or has it been encapsulated?
  10. This showed up in a package this morning. Certainly soothes any crankiness or mild annoyances I might have had. I don't know "Curtis", but thought this was pretty cool.
  11. I wonder where all the junk donkey’s go to forage now?
  12. Just received one of the home-made masks. Artfully done, nice black & grey design of character shield logos. Even came in it’s own bag w/board! Thank you!
  13. While people are welcome to their preferences aesthetically between red and yellow, I’m fairly certain the outcry over the red has more to do with a red label book being devalued compared to it’s yellow counterpart.
  14. I can see it at the top, right in the center. It’s not a “gearbox”, but a green “+” sign. Currently 144 followers. The one for each thread looks different(a gearbox).
  15. I wonder when exactly this was removed from the census?
  16. He’s got GL 76, 85, 86, 87 which are arguably the most important, and for WW I’d include 196(bondage cover) and 205(classic cover). Admittedly, I have a strong bias towards any of the WW from 178 through 222(last 25 cent issue, end of “12 labors” storyline. I just think that entire 7+ year period for that title is pretty cool.
  17. A group of books just arrived from a recent sale. Mr. Pontoon was friendly and courteous throughout, Shipping quickly & carefully packaged. Comics in or better than condition described. Easy transaction and would happily purchase from him again should the opportunity arise.
