  1. As an American coming back you would most likely pay you very little if anything at all. They will ask you how much you purchased of over all goods. There is different allowances for a 24 hour trip, a 48 hour trip and a week or more. You're gonna say a thousand or whatever the number would most likely be and you'll be sent along with zero issues. Jim
  2. See...I do not lie. Thank you so much for your purchase BTW. Jim
  3. Guardian Comics is proud to offer one of only five on the census, a CGC 9.9 Mint copy of Spider-Man #1 UPC code/Walmart edition. I will ship anywhere in the world for free on this the one. PayPal or method of preference works for me. There is no GPA data as it appears this is the first publically available copy ever. The asking price is $5,000 but as always we will listen to each and every offer. I know the picture isn't perfect and I will try to get scans up in the morning. Thanks for looking, Jim
  4. The founding father of this con, is on these boards. It's Ron Kasman, who I think nowadays on the boards goes as "That Ron Dude" Jim
  5. As typed, it's still a 9.8, so there must be a lot more else going on with it to be graded an 8.5 in the description. Jim
  6. From the scan the book looks like a virtually flawless 9.8. The miswrap (and it's slight) may have stopped it from getting a 9.9. The book is a 9.8 all day long, and twice on Fridays (cuz it's a Friday thread) Jim
  7. We spell them doughnuts up here...you guys are the ones with the memory loss, you guys forgot three letters. Jim
  8. It runs a 4-6 times a year and really is the best little comic show on the planet. Rob the promoter has really caught listening in a bottle with this one. This show on Sunday, my "wall" of keys would rival any Fan Expo "wall". Jim
  9. Juggernaut...I'm bringing a whole box of CPV's for $2.00 a piece, so come hit me up first. Jim
  10. You can see the pack and ashtray in the pic too...first thing I noticed. Jim
  11. I miss the Dreamcast version...that was my favourite of all time. Jim
  12. First SA appearances are fairly important, and have been for a very long time, because they are a representation of the character we know and love, not our Grandfathers GL, Flash or Cap. Avengers #4 is a pretty big deal. That being said Avengers #4 and X-Men #4 are two of my favourie 25 books of all time, but Avengers #4 is the winner here. Jim
  13. Sure does...one of his cast off Avengers #1's resides in my collection. Had it over a year now, which is a record for me Jim
  14. We should change this threads name to "Petes Personal Collection" Jim
  15. That's why I initially was going to sell them, but I think I'm gonna keep them. Jim
  16. Some dude??? That's what makes it so awesome. It's Klaw and the guy responsible for Winter Soldiers capture. We've seen both characters before. That's what I love about all these movies, they all tie in together in some fashion. Plus this trailer is visually amazing on the senses. Jim
  17. Double full backs in every comic....makes every single book look and feel like an AF #15 Jim
  18. Greg... In all fairness, if the guy had to "think" about a $400 #181, he was never gonna buy it in the first place. FWIW I will buy every $400 copy you have, and I will meet you on the side of a highway to buy them. Jim
  19. I have a soft spot for 4 over 3 because of Lorraine Gary and the townsfolk that attend Seans funeral. At least it feels like it takes place in the same universe, Jaws3, not so much. Jim
  20. Well actually Lou that proves my point perfectly....if it was $16 in 1970 then there was no way it was $25 in 64. Without NoMan chiming back in, that would have been our best way to deduce what the 1964 price might have been. jim
  21. Thank you for the correction, I thought I was starting to go a little crazy. I'm gonna say $25 could have probably gotten you a good GA key if there was one in the room there in 1964. Jim
  22. Last two books are sold via PM, thread is a complete sell out. Martin and Peter, your books you've claimed are yours. I'll send PM's to both of you tomorrow. Thanks everybody. Jim
