  1. My first two pieces of WD art arrived this week and I couldn't be happier. I think this is an ideal example for my first panel page (I still don't know how I feel about this "small" art though ) and then of course my first cover (I really like the character of Dale, especially the TV version) and I had a shot at the two latest WD covers but I wanted one where Adlard drew on more than one third of the page Jim
  2. Well then someone lied to you...Sig Series is about 35 bucks. Jim It's $28 for a single SS book subbed under the Modern tier. CGC, however, has begun bumping high value moderns like WD #1-3, 19, etc to the Standard SS tier which costs $65. Wow...I didn't know that. I stand corrected. Jim

  4. Anybody have any idea when "Episode 2" of the game is coming out??? Jim
  5. One thing I don't miss is the way Moore drew Lori...everything else was spectacular I agree, not one single cover has blown me away, although I'm willing to change my position when I see them in hand. Jim
  6. Why? Cause Michonne looks like a dude A bloated dude at that. Jim
  7. He sold the #98 cover last week for $1,750, as well as the cover to #65 (which is my first cover ) Jim
  8. Went 41 for 41 in WD submissions this weekend at 9.8 or higher Jim
  9. Spoiler warnings. Please guys. (thumbs u +1 For how long? Until the hardcover, book 8, comes out in October! I think it would only be fair...I mean I know we shouldn't talk about issue #49 either, for the people waiting for Compendium 2  Jim Apologies for the spoilers I was just teasing (trying to be funny) Jim

  11. What is the purpose of this every three week deadline? To make sure #100 is out in time for San Diego? Jim
  12. I've inquired. Everything is priced, you just have to ask. To me, prices seem high. Certainly higher than anything on Splash Page. Your mileage may vary. Here are some pages for sale on eBay...you can decide for yourself: http://www.ebay.com/sch/gotitonhere/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=50&_trksid=p3692 Now, I'm firmly in the camp that people can ask whatever they want. But don't turn around and blast Adlard for his prices. Hypocritical and looks like the anger is more about decreased margin for flipping, than anything else. And with that I stand corrected. Jim
  13. It appears all his art designates FS/Trade instead of NFS. Perhaps he is not actively selling any pages but if someone just had to have a particular piece then one would feel free to contact him. Say you needed one piece to finish a book or sequence, you'd feel more comfortable asking him than someone who has it listed NFS. I actually like the approach...if I'm correct. Jim
  14. I don't know how they would look as original art but the reds in issue 6, 33, and 44-48 always make me do a double take. Jim
  15. Your work has only just begun. You still get to pack them up and ship them, so far you've done the easy part Jim
  16. If one store in FLA is ordering 16,000 copies I can only assume that anyone betting on the number of #100 copies printed HAS to take the Over on 100,000 copies. I know my little 800 SQ foot LCS is ordering a minimum of 1,000 copies. What is Jamie Graham ordering for his 7-9 stores? What about Bedrock and his 3-4 stores? In all honesty, a print run of 250k wouldn't surprise me in the least. Jim
  17. I saw the same thing in Detroit. Only one booth didn't have Walking Dead on their display. I didn't see a decent price anywhere.
  18. I saw something similar in Detroit, dealers were insane on their pricing and stuff just sat. I on the other hand set up with two short boxes of exclusively WD books, priced them properly and am positive my sales were better than most dealers and their entire booth. Example one dealers pricing structure for their raw run. #1 1500 #2 1000 #7-10 300-400 #11-15 200 # 19 1000 The couple of 9.8 #1 copies in the room? $1,600 and $1,650 respectively. Jim Completely freaking crazy
  19. I was at the store today and the WD 1 was only $1200 Jim
  20. At least I know who I lost it to Only freaking thing I bid on in the auction Jim
  21. Just checked...7 pieces of art right now, all very pedestrian pieces that have been listed for weeks as BIN's that nobody is interested in except for the latest cover which is listed as an actual auction Jim
