  1. It might be considered a spoiler, but could you tell me if there's any reference to Wayne's birth child in that story ? Any other story revolving the concept of Bruce dying instead of the Waynes ? Thanks !
  2. Hi guys, I'm hoping/trying to locate all the stories in which Bruce Wayne was killed instead of his parents. So far I know of Flashpoint (and tie in minis) and Detective Comics #678 (a Zero Hour tie in). Any lead to other stories revolving that premise would be most appreciated. Thanks ??
  3. Hi all, I'm Gal. I share my first name with fellow Israeli, Gal Gadot, but I'm actually a guy (sorry to disappoint...). I've been collecting OA in small chunks since 2005. My main collecting focus is early '90s mainstream DC art, featuring key DC heroes and villains. My favorite pieces are probably the pages containing first appearances of a few notable characters: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryDetail.asp?GCat=5981 I always enjoy discussing OA collecting, so feel free to write me. Best, Gal
  4. FS folder is now closed for the time being. Interested collectors who've contacted me earlier via PM or e-mail, please feel free to continue our communication via those means. Much thanks, Gal P.S: I'm replacing the links above with links for my main CAF page, so you won't be directed to a deleted folder. Cheers, Gal
  5. Hi guys, I'm offering some great '90s Marvel and DC pieces, including: - 1996 Spider-man cover by Mike Wieringo (Ben Reilly costume !). - Classic Avengers round table page by Jerry Ordway. - Action Comics page featuring the Justice League by Bob McLeod. All can be seen here: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryDetail.asp?GCat=5981 Thank you for looking and please feel free to contact me with any question, my email is galschwart@gmail.com Thanks, Gal
  6. It really is a cool page ! Maybe you could send the selller an offer ?
  7. Howard Porter is an amazing (and way underrated artist), I'm happy to see more fans recognize his talent. I hope you'll find the right page that scratches the itch and I'm sure you'd be as impressed as I was when you see one of his pieces up close in person. Good luck and happy new year ! Gal
  8. I'm curious, who was your first "Bat-artist" and who's your current favorite ? When I started (around 1989), Breyfogle and Aparo were the artists on the main bat titles.
  9. Thanks guys, I'm pretty stoked about it . BTW, I was told it's pretty big in size - 18"X24" ! I really can't wait to see it in person and get a better scan (which doesn't cut the policeman's head...).
  10. Hi guys, Looks like the bat is out of the bag, as legendary artist Norm Breyfogle posted it earlier today (on his FB page): http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=1442045&GSub=11941 Very excited to have this piece as a companion to my other Breyfogle art ! Thank you Norm !! Cheers, Gal
  11. Well, it's not from my first comic ever and not even the first comic I'd purchased by myself (probably about the 5th), but I was thrilled to buy the cover (and a few pages) from my very first (and still favorite) issue of THE FLASH: http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1228504
  12. Howard Porter has responded me on Tweeter, here's his response: 'oh wow, I have no memory of this. I would guess it was for a commission of some sort, or fun? I don't think it was printed'. Even if it's 'just' a commission, I think it's a super cool piece, as I haven't seen many finished, detailed commissions by him from that era (plenty of nice rougher sketches out there though).
  13. Hi guys, I got this nice looking Howard Porter BATMAN piece from 1997 and I was hoping to gather some information about it: http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1437753 I have no idea if it was published anywhere or if it was "just" a fan commission. Any bit of info would be appreciated ! Thanks, Gal
  14. closed due to technical problem...
  15. Hi all, Just posted an interesting piece which (as far as I know) marks the last published collaboration between Dan Jurgens & Brett Breeding (until their very recent 2017 reunion): http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1435081 Cheers, Gal
  16. Hi all, As many fellow CAFers know by now, Victor Zsasz is one of my favorite Batman villains, so I'm thrilled to be able to add the key pages of his origin to my collection (as a companion of sorts to his first appearance pages): http://www.comicartfans.com/galleryroom.asp?gsub=186360 Jennifer Graves (more known for her work in the field of animation) and Wayne Faucher did an amazing, moody work on this incredible (and little known) origin tale, written by Zsasz's co-creator Alan Grant.
  17. Hi guys and gals, Please check out my following EBay auction: Original art for page 35 of DOOMSDAY ANNUAL #1, illustrated by Gil Kane (pencils) and Jerry Ordway (inks). Stunning page from Kane & Ordway's one and only collaboration ever (they provided only a short chapter in that annual). Killer images of Superman's killer, as well as a very cool, Gil Kane designed, new alien Green Lantern, plus - the Guardians Of The Universe ! Please feel free to contact me with any question. Thanks and happy bidding !
  18. Hi all, A few days ago I've posted a recent purchase - a tryout page that the late great Mike Wieringo had drawn in order to land the job on the FLASH title: http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1427032 The page is marked as "page 2', I've never seen any of the other (2 or 3) pages, if anyone could clue me in about what they'd looked like or their whereabouts, I'd be very thankful. Thanks, Gal
  19. Hi guys and gals, I've added a couple of pages to my sale, including: - AVENGERS round table published page by Jerry Ordway. - SUPERMAN on Apokolips published title DPS with hundreds of fourth world characters. Feel free to check them here: http://www.comicartfans.com/galleryroom.asp?gsub=185865 Feel free to contact me with any question at: galschwart@gmail.com Thanks, Gal

  22. FS: Gil Kane drawing Doomsday taking on the Green Lantern Corps, how could you possibly top that ? By having Jerry Ordway provide the inks ! One of the very best pages from DOOMSDAY ANNUAL #1, which featured Kane & Ordway's one and only collaboration (on one short chapter): http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=1427196&GSub=185865 Killer images of Superman's killer, as well as a very cool, Gil Kane designed, new alien Green Lantern, plus - the Guardians Of The Universe !
