  1. Outstanding! Love seeing early art from this era. This page looks to be in amazing shape. Congrats!
  2. Jimmy! I will echo the last part of your comment and I have established several great contacts in the hobby that started with a discussion about a possible sale that never materialized.
  3. I have done trades. When trading, expect that one side might need to add cash to make the deal even.
  4. The page I was watching started the final day at 469 and ended at 951
  5. I think Kevin lists most things this way as a way to show his collection is fluid. I don't see this as an intended quick flip for profit and I notice a few other CAFers list art similary (not for sale but will listen to offers - type advertising in the For Sale Status section).
  6. Doubles up on day of auction is loose rule of thumb I look at but could obviously vary greatly up/down
  7. Great art and great acquisition/background story. Personally, I love hearing a good story behind the art and would offer up that others perusing CAF might enjoy the story as well (as my comment indicates ). I too am often too lazy to write a comment (and even too lazy to post most art I get these days) so I am not casting stones. Congrats!
  8. That does shed some light I would strongly recommend due diligence on the sellers and you won't find a shortage of threads on this very forum. The first thing I would do is reach out to Adam and Allison to get there opinion
  9. Seller, venue, and price might shed some light.
  10. Would love to see it - do you have any video of your work in progress?
  11. Looks like a great room - love the clean finishings. Keep up with the pics - can't wait to see those walls filled. Thanks for sharing!
  12. Very nice - thanks for the additional shot. How close are you to filling the other walls with artwork?
  13. I love the Billy Ireland. Will have to make a point to view these. Thanks for posting!
  14. I don't follow graded books but I know from a friend that the WWBN is a hot issue (which reminds me I need to check if I have that issue). As such, don't sell yourself short. If that book is on an upward trajectory, be mindful about when you sell it. If it has some legs to keep running and you sell it now and sit on the cash, you may be losing out, especially if you don't buy any art for a while (which is advisable if you aren't familiar with art and what you really want).
  15. Looking good! I think some more pictures are in order
  16. Very unique idea - looks great. I would suggest doing a Ghost Rider burned cover.
  17. Love the effort you put into this Alex - thanks for assembling!
  18. Very cool - thanks for sharing! (no idea about the art)
