  1. The show is indeed great, and having to wait for episodes totally sucks and is annoying. Totally survivable though
  2. Well I might as well chime in here. If you have a problem with the pic, just ignore what’s on the far left
  3. Binged it...it was really good actually! I thought it was the perfect segue back into that universe. Was pissed that they're releasing 3 episodes at a time as I had forgotten! Was ready to watch a couple more
  4. I"d actually like to know the answer to this too as it pertains to a lot of the CPV I already have
  5. Mine was regular show held at a good sized room at a Holiday Inn near the airport back in 1985 or so. Great times, and I can still remember the (good) smell of that room!
  6. Hey! That guy on the bottom right of the cover of War Fury 1...is that the same guy from Horrific 3??
  7. There are SO many good Captain Marvel stories back in the 1940s. This is one of the top books to have if you're a true fan, and it's a great read too. I have a few more CM books though this is the only one I'd need to ever keep. This one will be staying in my collection no matter what.
  8. So I found an LCS that has a number of random, less interesting DC CPV books (Teen Titans, Hawkman LS, etc.) and they seem to be VF and up. Wondering if I should just grab them all....
  9. A spoiler free review from a FB comic book group (not me...a copy/paste): I may be slightly biased because I expected a lot from this movie since I loved the demon bear run. The character development was a very slow burn and made the beginning slightly painful. I was never a big fan of the casting for Magik or Wolfsbane, but I was very wrong, all of the actors and actresses were well suited for the roles. There are quite a few holy sh#t moments that comic fans will love. There is a "twist" to who the person pulling the strings are but you never see them. The best part of the movie is the last 25 or so minutes. If you are hoping for a ton of action or a ton of people, don't. There are literally 6 main people and a couple of others that spend under 20 sec on screen. It is not as horror as they make it out to be in the trailers. TLDR: Good movie with slow burn development and hard action to close out. Partially comic accurate.. ZERO post credit anything.
  10. This is the only movie I've been even remotely interested in seeing since End Game last year. I have zero fear of being in a theatre...I'm just wondering how long before it is indeed released digitally. I love my home system setup and would be happy to hear it'd be released digitally for download a few weeks later.
  11. Give him the refund, block him from buying and submit him for the Blocked eBay Bidder thread.
  12. It was definitely pretty interesting!
  13. I was figuring 2.5 with an outside chance at a 3.0.
  14. I have no had the need to do that yet. Hopefully I won't have to for any reason!
  15. They went to a subscription based system for the app last year and gave us a last chance to buy in at the one-time price (which I did). I used a simple 6 column Excel sheet and entered 1200 books last week. I then imported them into the CLZ cloud on my desktop. Then I synced my app to the cloud and all downloaded. So just getting the app gets you a lot of functionality!
  16. Okay...here's a pic of most of mine. All keys...if you have any questions about these books I'd be happy to answer. Like I said, the art in black and white is pretty darned cool. And some might be going up for sale soon...
  17. I'll try to take a pic of all my Heritage books tonight!
  18. Can’t believe it was me that started this thread! some books I came across while looking at other stuff. Don’t really remember seeing these show up often.
  19. I'll just leave the following here: https://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/burden/2018-2019.html Summary: Conclusion CDC estimates that influenza was associated with more than 35.5 million illnesses, more than 16.5 million medical visits, 490,600 hospitalizations, and 34,200 deaths during the 2018–2019 influenza season. This burden was similar to estimated burden during the 2012–2013 influenza season1.
  20. I still have my whole CPV run of Captain Carrot I bought of the stands here in good ol' Montreal
  21. I just pickup up a whackload of nice Éditions Héritage French Canadian versions of a bunch of Marvel keys. UXM 94, Daredevil 1, Hulk 181, IM 55...VERY fun stuff! I actually have one pic handy...I can take a group shot if peeps would like to see. And I gotta say it's great to see all the artwork for these books in black and white! Now to decide if I sell...........
