It's cliche but zelda sealed would be my personal top want ljst. I just don't want to spend the dough. I mout enjoy the hunt but at this point itS hard to find stuff. I am not a completionist nor do I have a wide reach to other systems. I go out and find stuff to sell to subsidize or trade. That's less fun for me.

Stopped in a pawn shop today and they randomly had a box of silver age books. Guy pawned them and then never showed back up. A few keys, but condition was mediocre and prices were high. Spidey 50, 121 and 122 were the best and were $150 a pop for, maybe, good condition. 95-99 UXmen, a smattering of Spideys from 50-120 as well plus some early Hero for Hire (2-4 I believe) and a few others of note. I put together a stack of the 50, 121, 122, 46 along with X-Men 95, 96, 97, 99 and he quote 400 from sticker price of 500. I passed. I am also not in your guys caliber of grading and valuing. -

This is going to be a fun haul post. I love those old bound volumes. I understand they undermine value and all that, but they're cool. I would not take them apart personally. -

If you go back 1 page, I posted pictures of all the notable Comics I got from that haul. Many thanks! Nice pickup and you both did the right thing. -

My first attempt to post this was eaten. Pulled up to a random garage sale to about a short box+ between a stack on the table and in two cardboard boxes underneath. Guy had no idea on price as to what he wanted to ask. He said 10 or 25 cents each. I got my stack and asked for a price and he said pay me whatever. I gave him a $5. The Iron Fist is fair. -

Hah yes. My boys have been enjoying that one. Was able to combine the jetfire with my other pieces. Now complete. Some yellowing and stickers are a bit of a mess. I am pleased. -

Lots of interest in my above story so I am sure everyone is clamoring for an updtae. So here it is! Went back and dug some more. Found a few random parts like Primes gun and Shockwaves head. I picked up the Devastator bag (looks mostly complete, I have one, but will likely swap out parts) and the Jetfire. I had the gun and most of the parts, so I can mix and match to make it complete. No paperwork and the stickers are all on the sheet, but pretty much junk. I will see what I can salvage. -

Stopped by a random estate sale, walked in and immediately saw a box for a Transformer. It was Jetfire and there was a bag with Devastator next to it -- $200 and $75 respectively. Not good. Everything else downstairs was standard fare -- glassware, some furniture, etc. Upstairs was a slightly different story. The son's room was clearly kept as-is from the 90s. There was a Genesis (someone had poached it already) and a few random toys. Oh, plus his Playboy collection and a few hardcore porn DVDs. Grabbed a couple transformers (no price) and a few GI Joe figures ($3) each. There were a coupleeee Joe vehicles, but incomplete, overpriced and not of interest. Out in the garage was another mish mash of tools and old toys/board games. Snagged a few additional Transformers (no price), the board game Labirynth and a Kid-corder with tapes (kid themed cassette player). Walked out with it all for $25. Was a little worried with no price tags given the other prices. My boys are listening to a TMNT cassette story right now. Ship Wreck, Recondo and Lift Ticket figures. Shockwave (broke, missing head, incomplete), Optimus Prime body + two of the internal vehicles, 1 constructacon, Ultra Magnus body, Rodimus Prime and a broke insecticon. Oh and 1 lego mini fig. No accessories. Not a great haul, but finding these things in the wild is always fun. I intend to go back tomorrow when they might be flexible on the Jetfire. We will see, not expecting much. It is missing gun, maybe another piece. The foam is in there (one might be damaged). A little discoloration. Stickers spotty. No paperwork. The box is ok, no major issues like tears, but plenty of general wear. What would be a good price? I have a few Jetfire pieces, including the gun. How about for Devastator? -

Found another star wars. The guy from last week didn't setup again. This copy is ok but a corner crease and crunch at the bottom hurt. Seller had printed out a sale of a random star wars issue graded at 9.8 listed on eBay to explain his pricing. The aliens figures aren't worth anything but I had to snag them as a fan of the movies. -

I will try to go back tomorrow. He is not a regular and I am not sure how often he does or will set up. First time I have ever seen him. If I can snag multiples then I would be happy to pass along the good deal. I did a quick phone ebay check there, but clearly did not do a good research job! I knew it was a nice little SW key, but unsure of value. -

Didn't see one. He had multiples of 42. I just took the one. It was 3 each. -

Are mid/upper mid grade bona fetts worth much? He had a dozen. I grabbed a vf-ish copy for the heck of it. I could have deg more and left a maybe pile behind. Happynronfimd anything. Flea markets have not been favorable for comics. -

Hit up the flea market. Usually not much in the way of comics (or most things I'd look for), but a guy was setup with several long boxes today. Flat $3 per. Lots of 80s, but very little 90s forward. House of Secrets 93+ run for 50 issues (so close), for example. Solid enough stuff all things considered. I picked these up for a solid bundle price: -
