  1. And it was a RAW copy. Amazing prices!! I wonder what a coverless raw copy of TMNT 1 would go for.... -J.
  2. Even though the TMNT #1 first print run is low, a lot of people are going to be content with the second of third print since they look 99% identical and are all released within just a few months of each other.
  3. Cap #3 has become the consolation prize for us guys who are priced out of #1 now. (thumbs u
  4. Any guess what this copy will end at? I always thought the cover was too busy for signatures, and for that reason I was going to try and get Stan to sign mine on the splash page: ComicLink auction listing

  9. Cap #3 on the rise! I am seeing a lot more come out of the woodwork lately though, I don't know what to make of that.
  10. A nice restored copy just hit eBay. The listing mentions it being a re-holdered old label, so I believe this is the 7.5 that sold on ComicConnect last year. I remember watching it close because I was going to make a offer on it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Captain-America-Comics-3-Stan-Lee-039-s-First-Work-7-5-CGC-Moderate-P-Restored-/321320358714?&_trksid=p2056016.l4276
  11. I must be in the minority, I bought and sold to him with no issues and he never PM'd me with weird questions. That being said, I'm still disturbed he was on the boards a year doing all this stuff and he's only 12 years old.
  12. Well the Sparkle City .5 didn't hit $10,000
  13. The first appearance of the "Jack Monroe" Bucky is Young Men #24. It wasn't meant to be him at the time but it was retconned in the 70's. Cool - I remember that from OHOTMU Wait, what about Bucky's post-war adventures in Captain America Comics? It was retconned that any Cap and Bucky in Captain America Comics after 1945 were other people taking on the persona's. Here's a good breakdown of the other people who took on the Cap mantle: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_incarnations_of_Captain_America

  17. I looked at the GPA for a 9.6 second print and it wasn't "$5" like he claimed.
