  1. I got ya Marmat! Here is the Comics Forum Spanish and the Greek Tony.... Im not totally convinced a Turkish doesn't exist.... I looked in the Turkish database and didn't find one but I fumbled through it.... its a little hard to navigate...
  2. Your gettin there Tim! Pretty amazing goal if ya ask me......
  3. Very cool! I talk about in my article the fact that for the most part many foreign variant collectors prefer the original art in some form.... but there are also those like yourself that appreciate the uniqueness and beauty of the original creations some of the foreign publishers chose to use instead. The Spanish publisher Edeciones Vertice being one publisher that did some really amazing covers that stand out amongst the rest as far as I am concerned..... great job!
  4. Nice Tony, when are we gonna start seeing pics of these huge sets you got goign man?
  5. Ahhh sheeeet getting all crazy with the FH..... All of your Im55 french Heritages our absolutley stunning guys! but I gotta pull my ace out of my sleve..... one of my most prized possesions...
  6. Since there is a lot of EH love going around... just got these in a while back....
  7. Sweet books! Bunches of sweet books in the last couple of pages! I am trying somthing new.... I need a better camera and a tripod, better non-linear video editing software and better narranting skills but for my first try at somthing like this I dont think it turned out to bad.... Anyways my idea is to do a video analysis on key foreign variant books and using that exploration to not only learn myself but to bring light on interesting aspects of this niche of comic collecting.... hopefully also using the book to explore a little about the country of origin and its publishers.... http://vimeo.com/59104804 Thanks in advance! 8. Technically speaking this may actually be a foreign edition, as I am sure it uses italian material inside, and seems to mirror (judging from the cover) a recent issue of "Topolino" (graphic design is similar). Cover by Giorgio Cavazzano or one of his many "imitators"… Thanks for clearing that up Cluadio! (thumbs u
  9. Pics please! I will have proper scans for all of them once I return from deployment...but, basically (in a rough manner I supposse), this is what how the set looks ...the russian book had thick cardstcock for all its pages, just translated scans from digital files on the net put together to make the book (not sure if it got an "NG" designation)... unbelievbly awesome collection. but I think you're also missing the US Direct version, with spidey head instead of barcode. easy enough to get I think, just surprised you dont have it yet. Having foreign sets get past the 20 books mark which I think this one does if you remove the American ones... puts you into crazytown territory! Its rare.... lets just say that....
  10. Score! (thumbs u I never tire of showing off my Mexican silver age bats....
  11. She is a beaut of a book! (thumbs u Key and foreign... just the way I like um'!
  12. That will have to be PM'd.... Certain foreign knowledge is considered top secret and cannot be diseminated out into the general population..... Thanks for diggin my site... put alot of work into the photography of it... consider this, because the books are shot together, everytime I add a book to a set I have to at least reshoot that line of books..... gets tiring, especially with all those foreign Spawns! I will fix the link! Thanks! (thumbs u I wanna be PM too! I know of a really hard one,we both have it, but I have a feeling its not the one you´re talking about. Is it? No, Nuno... you know.... That one is tough too though...

  15. Yeah... I had to settle for a copy that a couple people wrote on. Very nice guys! But let me tell ya flying.... the French copy is very tough, but with enough patience you can usually dreg one up! Speaking from experience there are 3 other 227's that are even tougher. And one that is like a dream that forces 227 set makers to awake in a cold sweat...... Oh and BTW owning this book does make you a....
