  1. 1 Value Tier invoice (pre-screens) from 8/30 marked "Shipped/Safe." Woo hoo. 1 Value Tier invoice (pre-screens) from 8/30 marked "Graded." Ok. 2 Value Tier invoices (pre-screens) from 8/30 marked "Scheduled for Grading." Hmm. 1 Modern invoice (pre-screens) from 8/30 marked "Verified." Ugh.
  2. Could you see the grades on the website? Did they tell you on the phone? Or could you just tell from the website that they passed a pre-screen? I submitted the books under Metropolis's account. They were able to look up the invoices to see the grades on the ones that were completed. So the books had been shipped? None of them are shipped yet. On a hunch, I called Metro and asked them to look up the invoice numbers. I was curious because the rest of us unwashed masses can't get the grades until the invoices are marked as "Shipped".

  4. Two of my Value Tier (pre-screens) from 7/5 were just changed to "shipped/safe" on the CGC website. Those six months just flew by.
  5. Solid buyer. No worries here. Thanks, Andrew!
  6. Sweet books, David. None of those are easy to find in nice shape.
  7. Great buyer. Great communication. Great taste in books. Thanks!
  8. 2 Value invoices from 7/5 and 2 Value invoices from 8/30 have been graded. But none of them have been marked shipped yet. Oddly, it was just a few weeks between the 7/5 invoices and 8/30 invoices getting graded. Although some more invoices from 8/30 are still marked as "Scheduled for Grading." Anybody have any Value tier stuff shipped lately? If so, what was the invoice date?
  9. It's a tougher one and also has a solo Ant-Man story back-up that's his first since his TTA series was canceled - this was pre-Marvel Feature. Yup. I think it's one of the toughest superhero picture frames. No 9.8s and only 5 9.6s. It's not surprising when Millie the Model #194 is scarce in high grade. But an issue of Iron Man from 1972?
  10. A couple new arrivals from the last ComicConnect auction. The #158 represents a moment of temporary insanity.
  11. Great books, Darwin! That Fear #6 is a great find. I rarely see one for sale and when it is, it's almost never that nice.
  12. is that a sketch cover? either way, that's nice Is that John Byrne art? It looks like it, but the signature doesn't look like his. Never mind, thanks to google, I figured out who drew it. That's a pretty phenomenal aping of Byrne's style.
  13. That's a great haul, John. Lots of not-so-easy-to-find books there.
  14. Jon is a dream buyer. Great communication. Pays quickly. And he's a very nice guy. Thanks, Jon!
  15. Sam is a great buyer and very nice guy. He also has very nice taste in books! Thanks, Sam!
  16. Arex is a giant among comic book men. Besides having the coolest name on the planet, he is a great buyer and seller of funny books.
  17. Mike is a very solid citizen. A+, 5 stars. Sell him your stuff and you'll be happy.
  18. I suspect you are referring to the Suscha books, no? Actually EBay. I have a pretty good guess which seller you're talking about.
  19. Great buyer. Great communication. Great guy. Thanks, Robert!
  20. Killer books, Darwin. The Sgt. Fury #99 is really tough to find in nice shape.
