  1. Yup, C-Link. I've been able to buy for some reasonable prices in their auctions lately. These were borderline.
  2. Great finds, Darwin. That Marvel Feature #4 is an elusive book in high grade.
  3. (It's Dr. Siman ) Oops. Um, make that angels with PhDs wearing white gloves and jet packs.
  4. Just had another stellar transaction with the esteemed Mr. Siman. The ASM #158 arrived safe and sound as if delivered by angels wearing white gloves and jet packs.
  5. A couple new arrivals. Both Kane/Romita creations:
  6. For the cost of one pedigree book, I'd rather buy 2 or 3 non-pedigrees. As long as they're nice books, that is. I like pedigrees because they're usually nice books. But if I can get sweet books at a fraction of the cost, I'm one happy collector.
  7. How did a non-Suscha sneak into your collection? What's up with that, Peter? (Sweet book. Who needs pedigrees with books like that.)
  8. Lots of killer books there, David. Really nice stuff.
  9. Vincent Zurzolo and Mike Carbonaro bought the collection from a very fastidious collector in 1998. They started selling the books soon after. At the time, the prices were somewhat aggressive, but not insane. If the collection had surfaced a couple years later, I'm sure the prices would have been much higher with the advent of CGC, online auctions, etc.
  10. Right, in the original link posted above I noted that this was the list Vinnie sent me after unveiling the collection at the 1st show (?) they sold it at, many of the key books were already sold. I'm guessing you bought books almost immediately after the collection was offered? Lucky you! Here's some more that I managed to snag right after Vinny and Mike got the collection. I think most of them are not on the list in this thread. To Vinny, Mike, and Bob Storm's credit (Bob helped grade the books, I believe), CGC graded most of the books the same way or, in many cases, higher. 11. Nice. Now people can pray to whichever god they choose. And the rest of us aren't forced to attend the same church.
  12. That's an opinion. And it's clouding the issue.
  13. I've been a quiet member of the club for awhile...
  14. I know there are probably decent raw copies out there somewhere. (Greggy seems to have them all.) But here's a list of PF books without a single CGC 9.0+ copy: Chili #18 Chili #19 Li'l Kids #4 Li'l Kids #5 Li'l Kids #6 Millie The Model #194 Millie The Model #195 Millie The Model #197 Millie The Model #198 My Love #20 Our Love Story #20 Rawhide Kid #105 And there are plenty more with only one 9.0+ copy in the census.
