  1. I have a hand gesture that I use whenever Gene Simmons or KISS is mentioned. I wonder if I can trademark that.
  2. I think that is the Whilce Portacio Iron Man artist proof set or something like that. When they did Heroes Reborn... I think they serialized prints of the original artwork and put them in a portfolio for fans to order. There were a few others in the set I think.
  3. Highs and lows depending on what you have and whether or not the people that want it have the funds to buy it. I had nothing but crickets for a month and a half and then in the last couple of weeks books are being picked up at full ask on eBay and CL. I just finished wrapping up an order now and figured I would check out what is oging on over here.
  4. I can post this set as it is not giving away any spoilers and this ship was seen in the trailers.
  5. Whoa... got the images for the Star Wars Episode VIII LEGO sets... BIG SPOILER.... How do I upload the images but put them in a spoiler...
  6. I actually wound up picking this up for my office once it is set up. $140 shipped - $15... I have had my eye on this since I saw it at NYCC. Aside from the mini Spider-man Bowen statue... this is the only statue I have. I figured I would make it a good one. I am done now. As of now I took my kitchen apart and am working on that. I hate sanding and painting... but I gripe about that on FB.
  7. This enabled me to obtain a ridiculous amount of fidget spinners. Thanks
  8. It was an old bakery I think... Nunziata Backery? Pretty sure the family I remember owned that one.
  9. I actually stopped by a very promising shop this afternoon off of Metropolitan Avenue. I will do a write up this weekend after I get a bunch of things done.
  10. I am not with Team Starlin in this matter. While I will readily admit that the creators have the absolute right to deny their signature on any material they so choose, I also have the right to not stand in line for his signature at all. I have no interest in getting a Neal Adams signature anymore due to the way he conducts himself and his pricing. I disagree with those that feel they are entitled to a signature to begin with and on their terms. If he turns you away so be it. Maybe he will change his tune when there is a severe reduction in the number of people lining up to see him. However, the comments made in regards to the CGC workers on FB and other places is kinda not cool. You all know how hard they work and the nonsense that they put up with.
  11. In the past 19 years that I have been around the area, I am honestly surprised that a comic store has not attempted to open somewhere off of Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg. Sure, rents are ridiculously high. But one of these trust fund babies have got to have the start up and gumption to give it a go.
  12. Don't make him take public transportation... I take the LIRR every day into Manhattan and it is a nightmare. Every day last week there were train cancellations and delays... it is a nightmare. I cannot imagine what the local bus service must be like. Here on Long Island you really cannot get around without the use of a car. It is sad but true. Hopefully this book finds a good home and hopefully I see you around town with some new wheels.
  13. I don't think it was NBC... I think the show was just bad.
  14. Disagree... Make three sections. Group it by Publisher for Marvel and DC... This way related books are near each other especially for Marvel "Event" crossovers. I want to see that ASM 987 which is Civil War VII Part 5 is near Daredevil Vol 19 Issue 3 which is Civil War VII Part 6. People for the most part know who is Marvel and who is DC. Group it alphabetically for all other publishers.
  15. The buyer is looking for one of the earliest published images of Wolverine signed by the creative team. Trimpe art and signatures have seen to increased in value since he has passed.
  16. One of the few guys that I would like to meet is Mick Foley... but every account of everyone I have ever heard of that has met him either at a show or at PC Richards have said that he is simply a nice guy to encounter. Now I want to go... Parking is still too much... even at $5
