Perhaps there is some speculation based on the fact that Hasbro is pushing Micronauts to be a major property again in their shared universe? Some art is character driven over artist.

I had paid $400 for the Raiders page where he is escaping from the temple with Marion by knocking over the statue through the wall. Many other pages from the continuation series, The Further Adventures of Indiana Jones" have been going for around $300. Either way... I am happy by it.

That was exactly why I picked it up. I have a slightly different viewpoint on collecting comic book art. Most people outside of our community do not know the artists so in this case the artists was irrelevant to me. However, Indiana Jones is a household name and when you think of the franchise usually the scene where he is running away from the boulder comes to mind. I have other Indiana Jones pages and I am (at least what I consider to be) a big fan of the series. This page exemplified the series in comics form to me. I don't display most of my things. However, I am looking forward to framing it and hanging it in my office at home. (Once the office is finished)

When life is bumming you out... buy art. Yes, I REALLY wanted this page. This will be getting framed.

Larry Hama had voiced his displeasure on his Facebook Page back in 2015. I was with Brock at that show and he swore to us that he would not do the show again next year. I checked the guest list and Hama is not featured this year either.

Oh, I am aware and I agree with that. However, around the late 60's I believe it is then that we start to see Marvel isolate Spider-man as a character in it's advertisements and things like that. It seems that despite the legacy of the FF, that Spider-man has been groomed over the last 50 years as the corporate symbol.

I've also know of him to completely <spoon> on some of the 'old' talent that have attended his show and one has actually sworn (in 2015) not to return. He held true to his word last year and apparently is not on the guest list this year either.

For the record... I have yet to pick up a ticket to this show. Still debating it and I am still not convinced that Stan will be there yet. i thought that NYCC was the final NY appearance.

I agree with this. There is a boardie here who tells me of how he comes across people that want to sell their collections and they always contact him to take a look first. He does not live in the NY area. Up up here everyone is savvy enough to check eBay with their smart phone and try that route first.

I'm bigger on AF15 not just for self serving needs but because I genuinely feel that Spider-man is basically Marvel's "Mickey Mouse." Spider-Man is their corporate symbol. The FF are important and I actually believe that there are more higher grade AF15s out in the wild than FF1s but AF15 is of more importance... today and in the immediate future

It's not even a "high point" book. However, I did send a note through the registry messenger system inquiring as to why he was entering a book in his registry that I had in my possession. I CC'd myself and received an email with a copy of the email (his) that the original system was sending it to. That email matched exactly with the user on eBay who purchased the book a couple of hours later. So... I know it is the same person. However, I have not seen payment nor have I received any responses.

True... but he still has not paid and he purchased the book after I sent him a message over the boards as to why he was entering it into his registry. There is still no response / message back and no payment.

Book was just purchased by the same individual who had transferred it into their registry. He must have transferred the numbers into his set the day before he intended on buying it. Still kind of odd considering that someone else could have bought the book from under him. He claimed it on eBay now I am awaiting for payment. I am always skeptical of this since someone took an image of one of my AF15's and tried to sell that on eBay.

I would like to see it as well. My use of the boards has been on the decline because I am having a hard time trying to get to the point in the thread where there are new posts. I heard you can hover over a thread and then the option comes up to see new posts but this is tedious as I wait for things to load in. At the minimum, selecting an 'all' button would allow me to simply scroll down to where I left off in the thread.
