  1. The forty foot fire ? pit does not pay for itself.
  2. One day I am going to pick up a copy of this book.
  3. Yes I am! CAL who is everywhere!
  4. Decided I did not need this and it was one of the things I handed off to CLink. One of the things that they did not notate was this is a three cel setup. Kind of slight.y bugs me that they left that fact out. Each turtle is on its own separate cel over the xerox background. It was pretty cool but I have been purging. If you are interested please bid and make me some extra money so I can spend it on other things. Direct link... Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cartoon Cel Set-Up Enjoy it if you win it...

  6. Anyone around here win the Stan Lee, Joe Simon, Allen Bellman Cap 1 Reprint in 9.6? I was the underbidder and was going to go a step up if my computer didn't sputter. Might be better off shelving my 2010 Mac and either using that $450 to upgrade or put it toward a new one.
  7. I see people do it all the time. Just do it in the right forum or I'll hump it Yes but I am actually going to post a direct link. Can I also post it in the art area? I sometimes see people link to their eBay listings in there and find that curious... maybe it is different because it is art?
  8. Is it in poor taste to advertise a piece of art I have listed in the current CLink auction ? I wanted to see what the board etiquette dictates before I actually do it especially because there is a minor omission in the listing.
  9. Next time don't deal with a banned board member, he's banned for a reason. To be fair... He was given a strike for talking politics and then given a ban because he supposedly created a shill while on strike. Now... was he shady... I don't recall any priors but for some reason I think that there was some problem at some point with selling a book for one price when he was supposed to sell it to someone else for another price. I think that is what led Shadroch and I to donate money to Wounded Warriors. Maybe it was another member. I appeal to the boards for clarification. Good seeing you on FT the other night btw. However, to have this guy's books is pretty shady as hell without shipping them back.
  10. I was just about to post that over here. He will be at the Carbo show again. Last year I walked up to him to drop off the pressing paper. I have no problem asking him about the books at the show if he still has not returned them.
  11. What I am not understanding is the relevance... why should I care? I don't mean this in a standoffish way either. I'm not understanding. If I sell an item for $15 Buyer pays $5 to ship I receive $20 eBay takes around $2 PayPal take 3% so say 60 cents... Actual cost to ship is $3.75 I take home $13.65 After that I honestly don't see the importance of the other stats.
  12. GI Joe - Silent Interlude make it the solo Snake Eyes movie and combine it with elements of Issues 21, 26, 27, 96-98 of the Marvel run.
  13. Basic Store (250 fixed price + 250 auctions per month) Ebay Fees - 11% Shipping labels - 14% PayPal - 2% That is 27%. Looks like we are about the same. I do pay to schedule auctions so that may cost me more than you. How are these number meaningful if buyers are paying shipping compared to free shipping? I'm a similar number to him about 25% selling costs. It doesn't matter whether buyer pays shipping or you give free shipping, you still pay for shipping even if passed through thus selling costs. If buyer pays then you net more. Seems obvious but maybe I misread your ? Dunno... selling bunch of $10-15 items costing about $5 each to ship. Buyer pays.
  14. I was told last week in three stores that they still have lines the day it comes in off the truck and they sell out instantly. Kids and I had a blast playing Zelda today. I'm thinking we might just replay the series. My understanding is that since the original NES was not designed for the current TV's that there are too many attachments and hardware modifications that need to take place. Either way, I am liking the fact that there is a save feature on the NES Classic. That, and I am no longer at a time in my life where I want to blow dust out of a game to get it to work. I will probably still wait until I find it at retail.
  15. Still waiting to find one at retail. I can wait until the summer if I have to. Have any been found in the wild lately or are stores starting up their inventory check?
  16. Totally... however... it has been far more reliable than HP's software. They STILL cannot figure out how to make the HP Software recognize my 8300 on my mac since the Sierra update. (Left messages on the HP forums, called Apple and HP to no avail.) Vuescan was an easy solution to buy.
  17. At this point they are both expensive ventures in either. I think the rest of the boards would drop their collective jaws if they knew what real estate taxes are on the island.
  18. "I wish I could tell you that Kamandi fought the good fight, and the Leopards let him be, but Earth A.D. is no fairy tale."

  20. Unfortunately FOX has not asked for my thoughts on the matter.
  21. FOX could have easily done an X-Men "Guardians of the Galaxy" type movie involving them being plucked from Earth along with the FF by the Shi'ar Empire to assist them in fighting the threat of an alien race. At the end we find out that the alien race can shape shift Phase II - Skrull Invasion Phase III - Galactus. That's what I mapped out in two minutes.
  22. i find this hard to believe as i own all of them +1 and here I thought that Batman 155 was just a cool dragon cover and this was the good one;) I used to say the same thing. Then I started buying Golden Age. It takes time and patience but it can be obtained. You may not get everything... but you can get some things.
  23. Starting Season 3 Episode 1 today. I see what has been meant by the comments concerning the tone of the series. You really do get a sense of Star Wars 'battling' throughout the series. I was also surprised by some of the execution style killings in the series. Troopers screaming, "no wait, please' and then getting shot in the head at point blank range. Definitely not for the little ones. VERY good series overall. I am disappointed in myself for not watching this years earlier. Too bad Rebels is not available for streaming. Once I am done with the Clone Wars it would be nice to start with that.
  24. Keep in mind that this hobby is still currently fueled by TV and Film speculation as to what the 'next big thing' is going to be. I think as long as Gotham is on the airwaves that there will continue to be interest in these books. Their Golden Age counterparts are out of reach for many collectors so the Silver Age reintroductions are the next best thing. I still kick myself for not picking up a 232 years ago. I felt that the book would settle down some after the Dark Knight Trilogy had concluded. Instead I continue to see a hike in prices.
  25. That's the Martin variant and it's a great one. I bought a copy but only with Stan Lee's autograph. Not to sound morbid, but it is one of the few modern ASM's that have Stan's name on the cover, and I do not think he will be alive nor signing when ASM 800 hits the stands. If I could add one other name to the book it might be John Romita Sr. However, I'm happy with just Stan's name.
