As someone once told me... as a seller you can allow yourself to be negotiated down in price. You can never negotiate the customer up on a set price.

Comic Kings is not in the wrong here. I see this a lot during SDCC season. Toy sellers will offer pre-orders to obtain the announced exclusives. If you agree to the immediate price you are guaranteed the set of whatever it is you want. If you want to wait and see what the demand is on certain items then you are running the risk of not getting them. It is poor form to pay the price and be at the front of the line and then ask for a refund. Let me put it a different way. Imagine buying a fast pass at Disney. This gets you to the front of the line. The day you are there the park attendance is low and the fast pass doesn't really matter. Does this mean you get to keep the fast pass but get a discount ? No. Comic Kings, you have two ways to play this. 1 - Cancel the order and never deal with the person again. 2 - Hold him to it and if push comes to shove, call eBay and go up the ladder, ask them to read their emails and win the case when the inevitable happens and he files an item not as described case. Personally... I would cancel the order and refund all the money in this case because you have not shipped any product out yet and I would NEVER deal with this person again.

Are you talking about the little black stickers? Yes Can you remove them easily? I just tried now. I actually pulled the sticker straight off (with no cleaner / goo be gone stuff) the first slab on the first attempt in one piece. However it did leave some residue that I will take care of tomorrow. The new slab design makes it a little tougher to get in there and remove it.

What a shame, I selected at the 40 spot and received my number 4 overall prize. I may buy the books on eBay to see if I can find hem since I thought they were pretty cool. I had that over the summer... I went out and found two notifications within an hour of one another from the same buyer. It was a book for about $650... guy made an offer for $550... then an hour later outright bought the item. Okay... done deal
