Here's a few I think qualify as all-time classics after a quick look at the GCD. A couple of which I also just ordered after realizing I didn't have them yet. Can try and get bigger scans for the ones I do already have if people want.

That is one seriously weird book.

A book from a different company, for that matter.

How many have both? I know about a Star Wars that has both, but can’t remember the user. 11, maybe?

I think you're the third boardie to have that copy? Too trashed not to upgrade, too nice to dump, so we just keep moving it around... -

Probably. The only other two that I think might give it any competition are the first issue and the Geiger cover. (Image swiped from GCD because my copy is in storage somewhere)

In today. The apparent stain on the lower right corner appears to actually be a print flaw. Now I just need to track down the Planet Comics and 3-D Zone 16... and figure out what box my Elvira 11 is in.

Here are the Whitman variants of Superboy & the Legion of Super-Heroes, since it's the run I have all the Whitman variants of. It will give you a good idea of how the logo evolved, even if Legion wasn't as consistently used as some of the other titles.

I'm leaning towards bad miscut, but it's hard for me to tell.

The ONLY pence copy I have seen of this book! You really do learn something new every day...

I think it comes and it goes. Unlike the Shadow, Doc managed to have his paperback run last over 25 years, reprinting all the pulp stories and adding several new ones. The Shadow was much more intermittent on reprints until the most recent series. The Shadow has the better catch phrases, though. I think this is their second team-up:

First Edition HARDBACKS .... the "Bookie" thread.
OtherEric replied to jimjum12's topic in Pulp Magazines
I bought this when it first came out, seeing it at a local store a couple days after a book signing, when neither of the creators were that well known. They had a few copies left over at cover price. I could barely afford it and hadn’t read anything by Pratchett and very little by Gaiman at that point. I sometimes think my future self was screaming over my shoulder that if I didn’t grab it I would regret it later. -
