  1. Good morning, Thanks for your message. The $150 membership credit will automatically be deducted from your grading fees once your order is received. You are not charged for anything until your order is received here in the office. We will deduct off the credit first and then just charge you the difference. Since the online form is not a live form, you won't see the $150 credit there but it is linked to your account internally and will be deducted automatically when we receive the order.   2. Good morning, Thanks for your message. The date listed on the website is the current mail delivery date we are opening in our receiving room. This is not the date we are grading. If you have an order that was delivered in October that is not showing up in our system at all, then please contact our customer service department with the order number and the package tracking number and we will investigate further for you.   3. Good morning, Thank you for your message. Yes, you can select whichever services you would like for each book. If you would like them graded after pressing, just select both grading and pressing services and then you would select screening as well. We will then only press the books we think will benefit from pressing and then they will move over to grading after that. Thank you!

I checked with our graders on this and they advised that generally it will depend on the condition of the book as to whether we give it a qualified label or a universal label. If the rest of the book is a 3.5 or better, usually we will give it a qualified label. If the rest of the book is under 3.5 we would give it a universal label. We will also notate that a page is missing on the label and we would call the book incomplete. We will notate, however, if that missing page affects the story or not.     Good morning, Thanks for your message. Anyone can submit to us from anywhere as long as they are a paid member of our Collector's Society. When completing the online submission form, Canadian and UK customers will need to put a space when entering their postal code. The online form will not register the postal code without that space.   7. Good morning, Thanks for your message. We used to have separate top labels that were attached to the outside of the holder. We have since changed that so now everything is inside the holder and those can't come off any longer. Unfortunately, we cannot send you just the top label sticker.   8. Good morning, After you sign up for a paid membership, you'll want to log out completely and then log back in for that upgrade to take effect. Once you log back in that should allow you access to the online form. Also, make sure you don't have anything currently in your shopping cart that you put in before you upgraded your membership. If you did, you'll want to delete those items and re-enter them after you have logged out and logged back in. Screening for CCS does take an additional 30 business days or so and then the Walkthrough turnaround time for CCS would be an additional 29 business days. CGC Services & Fees | CGC (cgccomics.com) If you have not received any contact from CCS regarding your order not passing screening then that means it was moved into regular CCS pressing.   13. Good morning, Thanks for your message. CCS pressing has always had a much longer turnaround time than grading alone. Pressing is a much more time consuming process. A single book might pass through our pressing machines multiple times to press out as many defects as possible. There are also a limited number of pressing machines available so this does add to the time it takes to complete this process. We are working hard to improve these turnaround times as quickly as we can while still ensuring the qualify of our services. We are hopeful that with the processes that we are currently testing out, this will help to bring down all of our turnaround times. If our graders feel that the book is undervalued by a significant amount, they can bump the book up to a higher grading tier and you would be charged the difference in the grading fees.   15. Good morning, Your order is still in grading. Magazines and magazine sized books do have a much longer turnaround time than regular comics. There is no set amount of time that an invoice will remain in one status. That time will vary depending on the tier and how many invoices are ahead of yours. It is the total turnaround time that we look at and your invoice is still within the normal time frame for its tier.     Good morning, You can leave it in the holder and we will crack it out here before we start the process. If the book is being regraded, it will receive a new certification number. We only keep the existing number when it is submitted for a simple reholder where we just put the book into a new holder. If you have any other questions, please let us know. Thank you!

Also, we only offered the Star Wars label for the NZ mint silver foils: CGC & New Zealand Mint Partner on Star Wars Label | CGC (cgccomics.com). I'm not sure exactly what you mean by coin notes but if they are not the silver foils they wouldn't qualify for the Star Wars label regardless. Thank you!

  21. Hello, We have two different types of holders. Comic and magazine. Your book might be too big for a comic size but still fit in the magazine size holder. The maximum size for a comic sized holder is: 10-1/2” tall 7-5/8” wide 1/4” thick However, if your book is larger than those dimensions but still within the magazine dimensions (listed in my previous message) then we can do it, it will just be put into the magazine sized holder instead.   24. Good morning, Thanks for your message. Yes, regular pressing is running about 199 business days right now. Pressing has always been a lengthy process when compared with grading. One book may go through our pressing process multiple times to press out as many defects as possible. Multiple that by thousands of books and there is going to be a longer wait time. There are certainly ways to decrease the wait time. We offer a fast track service for Modern and Economy tiers. We also offer tiers with faster turnaround times such as Standard, Express and Walkthrough. Thank you!
