  5. Good morning, Thanks for your message. The best way to tell if your book is a good candidate for pressing would be to select our screening service. We can screen the book before it goes through CCS to see if our experts think it would benefit from that process. If we don't think it would benefit, or if we feel the book is too brittle or fragile to safely go through the process, we would let you know and not proceed with the process. Screening is a $15 minimum or 1% of the declared value, whichever is greater.   6. Good morning, Thanks for your message. You should submit everything that is on your packing slip in the same box. It can cause major delays in processing if yo send something in without a packing slip. If you want to ship any items in separate boxes, you should create two separate orders with two separate packing slips. If you have any other questions, please let us know. Thank you!

If you are referring to something like the recent BOGOCGC code we just announced to get a free small shipping kit, that would be entered at checkout on the CGC store.   11. Good morning, Thanks for your message. When you entered the book info, did you use the drop down menus or did you type the information in? If you typed it in then the form is probably not recognizing the book info and that is preventing the label from popping up. I would go back and try to locate the book using the drop down menus. If that doesn't work, you can notate it on your packing slip but you want to make sure you write the info in bold, clear letters and list the label number and which book it should go with and we can add that when your order is received. We do, of course, have a general idea of when the signing will take place but finalized dates are all dependent on the artist and their schedule which can change sometimes. We have to put in a cut off date far enough in advance of the signing so we can have the time to get all the submissions entered into the system for that signing and have them ready to go for the artist. If we put the cut off date only a day or two before the actual signing then many customers submissions would never have a chance to be entered. Thanks!

Hello, Yes, if you renewed your membership prior to the change we made in fees and benefits on 4-28 then you will still receive the old membership benefits until your membership expires for that year. Then, when you renew next year, the new benefits would kick in. That would apply just to member benefits, however. Any orders completed after 4-28-21 will have the updated pricing. Thanks!

  15. Good morning, The date listed on our website is the week of mail we are opening. Once a package is opened, it doesn't necessarily mean that it will immediately go into the grading room. The turnaround time will depend on the tier you selected. Your invoice will go in line with the rest of the invoices in that tier and it will be taken into the grading room when the graders get to that day's mail for that particular tier. For longer tiers, such as Modern and Economy, it will take longer to see that status change to grading than a shorter tier such as Standard or Express. Thanks!

  17. Hello, If you selected both pressing and grading you are charged for pressing first when your order actually starts the pressing process. You will only be charged for grading once the order completes pressing and moves over to CGC to start the grading process. The actual amount of time from when your order is logged in till the process of pressing or grading begins will vary depending on the tier of service you selected. A faster tier such as Standard or Express will start those processes faster than a slower tier such as Economy or Modern. Thanks!
  18. Good morning, Thanks for your message. The turnaround time for the private signings is about 6-8 weeks from the date of the signing. Your book was signed on 9-11 so it should be done around early November. It just finished up with pressing and is on its way over to grading now. Thanks!

Hi, CGC grades most magazines that do not exceed the following dimensions: 11-1/2” tall 8-7/8” wide 1/2” thick CGC will not grade magazines with a hardcover, jeweled cover, or certain explicit images. CGC will not encapsulate any floating items with the magazine (i.e. COAs, Pedigree COAs, 3-D glasses, Poly-bags). Please check our Census data to determine if we have graded a specific book previously. Thanks!
